1. The Roosters (ザ・ルースターズ ) was a legendary Japanese rock band, active from 1978 to 1988. Originally, the group mixed punk with rock 'n' roll, but eventually branched out to include elements of gothic rock, post-punk, ska, new wave and folk. In 1999, a tribute album called "Respectable Roosters" was released. Some of the featured artists on the tribute album include Thee Michelle Gun Elephant , The Pillows and Supercar . The band reunited in 2004 to perform at the Fuji Rock festival.
2. The Roosters were a band from Warsaw. At the beginning there were only: Bartek, Toy and Jacek but Faiver joined the band immediately. The Roosters went through several personal changes. For some time Oskar of V/A Team sung as a lead vocalist, Jacek was replaced for approximately year and a half by Janek of Blog 27 and Toy left the band while the spring tour of 2007 for personal reasons. Finally the Roosters settled with Faiver(guitar/vocals), Bartek (guitar/vocals), Dere(bass), Piotrek(drums) . Since then no one left or joined the band. In the early spring of 2007 after signing a record contract with Warsaw City Rockers Records- the Roosters managed to release their début EP Roosters Republic. The Roosters sound is diverse. While trying to achieve an 'American punk' sound, the band was experimenting with genders like ska, pop, hardcore and electro. The Roosters played a lot of shows in Poland, Germany, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. Recently the band recorded their début LP Guns Up and signed a record deal with Rockers Publishing. The album will be available in stores all over Poland in February.

Our bags are waiting by the door
I took the phot off the wall
We won't meet here anymore
Like so many times before
This time tomorrow we'll be gone
Can't find no peace, we're on the run
My head id filled with shots of all of you
Laughs about things that we used to do
One last time before we see this through
(Chorus)
So long my friends
Drain your glass and fill them onece again
Tonight will be ourmemory
So long my friends
Time has come for us to move along
But I don't see this as the end
Another face another name
No two places look the same
Everything is bound to change
Until we meet again
We're never sure what we call home
I can't settledown for long
The glass is greener anywhere
Out of time and in too deep
We're psychotic from the lack of sleep but we're
Staying up so we can saygoodbye
(Repeat Chorus)
Cause I know that one day
We'll all be face to face again
Till then let's fly into tomorrow
Cause nothing no nothing
Will ever change what we've been through
So let's just keep on moving on and on and on and on
Our bags are waiting by the door
I took the phot off the wall
We won't meet here anymore
My head is filles with shots of all of you
Laughs about things that we used to do
One last time before we see this through
The Rooster's "SOS" is a song about moving on and saying goodbye to familiar faces and places. The singer of the song is leaving, but not with sadness, rather, with a celebratory tone. The song employs a nostalgic perspective, as he reminisces about the sweet times he spent with his dear friends, knowing things might never be the same again. He's looking at photographs and laughing at the things they did, making memories that will last a lifetime. The singer knows that he can't settle down for too long, and the best thing to do is embrace change, embrace the coming of tomorrow. Alongside this message is an undercurrent of franticness, as the singer announces they're out of time, in too deep, and psychotic from lack of sleep; but staying up so they can say goodbye to the people and places that have marked their journey.
Overall, the song has a sense of anticipation and hopefulness about the future, the idea that the journey of life is not over, and the best is yet to come. So as they pack their bags and leave their homes behind, they leave with fond memories of what was once theirs and the hope of what could be theirs in the future.
