Time moves quickly and you may not realize it until you reflect on your past experiences.

You won't believe all the people, they come and they go
People in your life come and go, and you may not always expect or understand the reasons for their departure.

As I watched you come alive, part of me died
Witnessing your growth and development as a person has made me realize that I too have changed and lost a piece of myself.

And I held you through the night, I watched you cry
I comforted you when you were upset and witnessed your vulnerable moments.

I am holding on
I am trying my best to maintain my strength and stability during times of uncertainty and change.

Despite what life throws my way, I continue to persevere and stay resilient.

So make the most
Take advantage of every opportunity and experience that comes your way.

Take pictures of all of those ghosts
Document and cherish the memories and moments that have passed, even though they cannot be relived.

And don't be afraid to go down a road you don't know
Do not be scared to take risks and pursue the unknown, as it may lead to growth and self-discovery.

As you grow
As you mature and develop through life experiences.

I'll show you all that I know
I will impart my wisdom and knowledge to you in hopes that it will guide you towards a successful future.

But one day will come when you're gonna have to stand on your own
There may come a time when you will have to rely on yourself to make difficult decisions and face challenges.

When I look back at all that I've done
Reflecting on my past actions and experiences.

There's not a day I would change cause it led me to now
Every day and decision I've made has shaped who I am today, and I have no regrets because they have led me to where I am now.

So I wrote this down
I am documenting my thoughts and feelings, perhaps as a form of reflection or as a reminder for others.

Though I haven't quite figured it out
While I may not have everything completely sorted out or understood, I am still learning and growing.

But I won't be the same person next year
I am aware that I will continue to change and evolve as a person with each passing year.

As I am right now
Just as I exist in this moment, I will continue to grow and develop with the passage of time.
