Their 60s hits included: "I'll Never Find Another You", "A World of Our Own" , "The Carnival is Over" (which the Seekers sung at various closing ceremonies in Australia, including Expo '88 and the Paralympics), "Someday One Day", "Walk With Me", "Morningtown Ride", and "When Will The Good Apples Fall". Their tune "Georgy Girl" in particular served as the title song of the film of the same name. These songs have had significant airplay on 'oldies' radio stations over the years.
Bruce Woodley and The Rain, The Park and Other Things's "I Am Australian", which has been recorded by The Seekers, and by singer Judith Durham with Russell Hitchcock and Mandauway Yunupingu, has become an unofficial Australian anthem.

And have servants of my own
I can snap my fingers
And I could have anything I want
Sometimes I look out my window
See loverâ??s hand in hand walk by
They see the diamonds I wear
Oh when will the good apples fall on my side of the fence
When will I taste the sweet fruits of life
When will the sun smile for me through great cloudy skies above
When will I find my true true love
Well my daddy says
Don't worry
And my daddy says
Just wait
I'm going to find you a rich man's son
And bring him to our gate
Sometimes I look out my window
See lovers hand in hand walk by
Daddy doesn't know it
There are some things that money just can't buy
Oh when will the good apples fall on my side of the fence
When will I taste the sweet fruits of life
When will the sun smile for me through great cloudy skies above
When will I find my true true love
When will I find my true true love
When will I find my true true love
When will I find my true true love
When will I find my true true love
The Seekers' song "When Will the Good Apples Fall" is a poignant reflection of the singer's longing for genuine love and happiness beyond the materialistic comforts she's accustomed to. The song's lyrics emphasize the contrast between wealth and emotional fulfillment as the singer expresses her envy of couples experiencing true love as opposed to solely possessing diamonds and other material things. Despite having riches and servants of her own, the singer still yearns for something unattainable by money. The use of the phrase "When will the good apples fall on my side of the fence," signifies the singer waiting for fate to bring her happiness and love rather than relying on her affluence to achieve it.
The singer expresses her frustration with her father's incessant search for a rich man's son to marry her. While her father may have her best interests at heart, he doesn't understand the intangible aspects of love that money can't buy. The singer's disbelief in her father's matchmaking ability implies that she wants to find love and happiness on her own terms, rather than relying on her financial status.

I may be a rich man's daughter
Although I come from a wealthy family

I can snap my fingers
I can get whatever I want easily

And obtain everything I desire
Sometimes I look out my window
Occasionally I gaze through the window
See lover's hand in hand walk by
Watching couples holding hands walking down the street

Haven' t commented on here for a number of years but just want to say thanks to Rich for keeping the music of perhaps the most beautiful sounding band in the world alive. It is impossible for me to say how much I feel about the sound of The Seekers and in particular the voice of Judith Durham. I was about 11 or so (born 1953), when The Seekers first made their appearance on British radio, and I have been intoxicated with their music ever since. I always wanted to marry a Judith Durham type woman, never happened, got Cruella de Vil instead, !!.. Imagine just waking up to "Mornin Town Ride" every morning sung by by Judith herself. There is something about this lady that defies normal emotional behaviour from a 67 year old, but that's me. When I die I want to hear Judith singing to me as I pass from this world into the next. God bless you Judith and The Seekers, you have made a silly old git happy for over 60 years.

Such a beautiful harmony and talented bunch. I heard this song in 2009 while working at a nursing home and one of the oldies there had this song on a CD, and immediately fell in love with this song. She knew i liked this song and that lovely grandma used to play it for me everytime I was there to see her. One of my good memories.
