1. The Sentenced is a hardcore punk band from Denton/Fort Worth, Texas. Comprised of members of Sin Motivo, Wiccans, Chainchomp, and Breakout.

2. The Sentenced was a melodic death metal band from Muhos, Finland. They formed in 1989 and broke up in 2005. Formerly the band name was Deformity. They published 8 studio albums in all.
