The Society Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

So you want, to be free
Live your life, the way you want to be
Will you give, if we cry
Will we live yeah, or will we die, oh

Tainted hearts heal with time
Shoot bad love so we can
Stop the bleeding

Solitary brother (solitary brother)
Is there still a part of you that wants to live?
Solitary sister (solitary sister)
Is there still a part of you that wants to give?
Solitary brother (solitary brother)
Is there still a part of you that wants to live?
Solitary sister (solitary sister)
Is there still a part of you that wants to give?

If we try, to live your life
The way we want to be

Yeah, yeah
Solitary brother (solitary brother)
Is there still a part of you that wants to live?
Solitary sister (solitary sister)
Is there still a part of you that wants to give?
Solitary brother (solitary brother)
Is there still a part of you that wants to live?
Solitary sister (solitary sister)
Is there still a part of you that wants to give?

Racism in future kings can only lead to no good
And besides, all our sons and daughters already know how that feels

Yeah, yeah, yeah
Love, love, love, yeah

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to The Society Feat Thomas Hass's song The End convey a message of freedom, love, and hope. The singer in the song wants to live their life on their own terms and questions whether they will be able to survive in a world that may not accept them for who they are. They ask if they will be able to give love even in the most difficult moments, whether they will live or die.

The song's chorus asks the question "Is there still a part of you that wants to live? Is there still a part of you that wants to give?" These questions are directed at the solitary brother and sister, urging them to keep fighting for their lives and to keep giving love despite their circumstances. The lyrics suggest that love is the antithesis to hate, and that the world needs more love to heal the wounds of racism and bigotry.

The last line of the song "Love, love, love" drives home the message that love is the ultimate solution to humanity's problems, and that only love can unite us all. The Society Feat Thomas Hass's "The End" is a powerful song that speaks to the hearts of those who are struggling for freedom and love.

One of the most realistic, underrated teen shows. The trailer doesn't do justice to how great of a show this was. I've watched season 1 four times now which sounds crazy, but the plot lines and conflicts are so interesting as well as the acting being superb. Truly sad that season 2 was cancelled. The least they can do is release the scripts to the public.

Though i reached this series today i will give it try ... even though trailer seems dumb

They probably wont release the script because they won’t make money off it 🙄🙄

In my opinion this series really shows what would happen if the only people in a town is all teenagers. In the first half of course it's all about fun and games all was fun, parties, sleepovers but the series showcased natural problems and not fictional problems. They weren't trying to solve, they weren't trying to be heroes but all they were trying is to survive. I think this series is a breath of fresh air because of how its so different from other sci-fi futuristic series. They were just normal teenagers wanting to survive without trying to be heroes
