香港のビクトリアピークからの風景を思い出しました。
涙が溢れてきました。
この演奏と歌声を聴いて、今思ったこと。
自分を命がけで産んでくれた母、大事に育ててくれた父、そして未来を生きる子供たちのことが思い浮かびました。
少年時代を過ごした美しい故郷の風景と友の顔も。
そして世界大戦のさなか、南の海で駆逐艦と共に沈んでいった、会ったことのない当時23歳の伯父さんのことも。
この美しい音楽が存在する地球上から、
すべての武器や核兵器を作るのをやめ、皆で今存在する戦争の道具を廃棄しましょう。
地球上のすべての戦争、あらゆる紛争を今、直ちに停止しましょう。
世界中のリーダーの皆さん、どうしても戦争がしたくなったら、ラグビーで決着しませんか？
試合が終わったらノーサイド！

I was born in HK in 1960. I thought I had found love late in life only to be tossed over a cliff. William Holden's portral of a world weary correspondent resonated with me. I can't watch this movie without the dam bursting. Strikes too personal to me.

Maybe think of what you found like this, finding this kind of love once in your life how lucky you were, you found what everyone wishes they could find and you had it once, it may not have worked out but you now know what true love really is
