In 2002, the group signed with Flicker Records, which is owned by members of Audio Adrenaline, and changed their name to The Swift. They released their self-titled album later that year.
After a debut that brought them moderate success, The Swift then released their second album entitled Today. Early 2004 brought about a line-up change. Guitarist Chris Byers decided to leave the band and was replaced by Justin Sharbono (formerly of Superchic[k] fame).
After only seven months with the band, guitarist Sharbono left the band to pursue other interests. In order to fill the void, the band decided to reach back into their hometown and added guitarist Matt Wilder (also from Zaccheus Tree) to the roster in December, 2004. Drummer Trae Drose announced his decision to leave the band in May of 2006. He was replaced by Guy Lemon. The band released an independent worship EP before leaving Flicker Records to sign with Michael W. Smith's Rocket Town Records. A new album is scheduled for release in October of 2006.

There is no religion just one God the father and one son Jesus Christ God came down thousand of years again when the world needed him most and he died for are sins so we can clean and holy before we meet are creator in heaven. There is one way to heaven and it’s through are lord and savior Jesus no religion just believe that Jesus the holy spirt and God the father are one and the same and they are all what real life is. God gave us free will to do what ever we want the people that choose to follow Jesus and be more like are father in heaven. He will return on day so that the righteous make new earth with him and he will Dwell with him again just like Adam and Eve did before we tempted by Lucifer and ate from the forbin tree of knowledge that God said not to eat from so he sent Adam and Eve out of the garden to live with out God. It is key that we seek God daily when we do we humble are selfs before are God and say God I need you every day for the rest of my life we are all sinners because of what happened in the garden if we repent of are sins every day we are asking God to wash clean us to make us holy like him and that we trust and believe in him. Jesus died for 3 days and rose from the grave and is in heaven right now with God waiting to return one day. I’ve seen demons come out of people in Jesus name I’ve seen miracles in my life. There’s too much good, and there’s too much evil, for there not to be a God and the opposite of God, which is the devil, and there is a heaven and hell what we do in our lives determines if we are able to go into heaven or not.. it’s sad that hell is a real place but there are some really bad people in this world and some really Good people it’s a battle every day when you believe in Jesus and are Father in heaven it’s called being woke up you see different you think different you live differently because you realize this world will one day pass and evil will try to stop God when he returns but it is written that God wins the war! Jesus was the only baby ever that had didn’t have a human father he trusted Mary when he made her so much that he chose her to be the mother of are lord and savior. Jesus came to send us the holy spirt die for us on the cross for are sins and rose from the grave to prove to everyone that he is the only way to the father and to heaven. Religion is the worst word because it separates and confuses people from the truth and the narrow road to eternal life!!
