The band evolved into a nine-piece ensemble with a light-hearted and humorous performing style.

The name "Temperance Seven" is a subtle play on words: the number seven being "one under the eight". That there were nine members or "one over the eight" implied intemperance.

They have links to Monty Python and the Rolling Stones.

This is Archangel Michael. He has the triangle on his chest to represent the first of platonic forms, AND the symbol for fire, hence the card’s connection to Sagittarius. This is a card of alchemy.

It is Michael and the card can represent the alchemy of balance & synergy. The triangle can also correspond to the Tetrahedron of fire from the theory of forms and it also symbolises the septenary from Theosophy ⛤

That angel on the card is said to be Arch Angel Michael. We can tell by the solar disk at the place of his third eye.

Indeed, the fiery Archangel of the North is one idea for the Angel of Temperance. I've found that whenever I pull this card, I ignore it at my peril. I think that's why the Devil comes next! 😅☆

This reminds me of the best message I ever found on the label of a herbal teabag - 'Act, don't react'. That seems to basically sum up Temperance in a nutshell 🥜🌰 and I reckon if Temperance was caught in a nutshell, it would need some Temperance itself. But who tempers Temperance?🤔🤯
