You can only knock him down once so it's best to save it for the 6th or 7th round. From round 2-7 alternate left hooks to the head and body (you can even spam the hooks if you want) and make sure to only knock him down on round 6 or 7. That is how you knock him out

this fight is definietly scripted. i tried even amateur and champion mode too. on amateur i used only left hook hit, KO-d him after 30sec easily after that he turned in to a beast takin 34823472 left hook hit and always found a way to knock me out. on champion this is the same even harder to KO him first. i think you have to use combination of moves and hits (even right hand too!)
