Their dedication to the musical roots of Rock'N'Roll comes through in every whipsaw atomic blast. A night with The Tremors is a hell-bent chicken-run through the greatest music in American history -- Rockabilly -- The hybrid of Blues and Country that became Rock'N'Roll and changed the world.
Through passionate research and exploration into Rock'N'Roll history, the band has assembled the finest and most legendary songs of the 1950's. Throw in some of their own rockin' original material and you've got Rockabilly as pure, authentic, and strong as Tennessee sour mash.
Eugene Chadbourne, All Music Guide
Fans of this top-flight North Carolina band -- perhaps "20 flight" would be a more appropriate term considering the rockabilly song repertoire -- have been waiting patiently for a new release by the Tremors, as patiently as the somewhat dodgy chick named Jody who used to hang out in front of a bowling alley in Denver, hoping her main man, the raunchy pachuco Johnny, would come by and take her for a drive in his hot rod. These former fans are going to have to be happy with a shortie disc, six tracks and less than 14 minutes in total, just like the aforementioned lass had to sometimes settle for a fleeting glimpse of her boyfriend on nights when he was too busy racing to hang out with a dame. Tremors fans are getting the better deal, in the long and short run of it, as Johnny was a total jerk and these six tracks are pretty much uniformly excellent. On "Lovin' on My Mind," the rhythm section of Slim Perkins and Stretch Armstrong cooks like mad; elsewhere, the bassist pulls some terrific synchronization with the deliriously recorded vocals of guitarist Jimmy Tremor. The experience, needless to say too short, at least includes some essential stops in terms of this genre's subject matter: sex, drive-ins, pill-popping, sex, money, sex, and Carl Perkins.
2. The Tremors are also a band from Australia who have released "Can I Get A Whiskey?" EP & full length album "Cash Up Front, No Kissing".

The Tremors Lyrics

At guys in sunglasses
That's why I've got my Mirror shades on
If you can see my mirrors
Than I can see you
So gaze in my eyes appreciate my view
You sure are pretty
Can you see yourself?
With a man like me
Can you see yourself?
You sure are pretty
Can you see yourself?
You won't believe where
Flattery gets me
Your mind can't conceive what my eyes have seen
Behind my mirrors
Lies a smoked quartz oyster
Welcome to my world, I'm Scorpio
Can you see yourself?
You sure are pretty
Can you see yourself?
With a man like me
Can you see yourself?
You sure are pretty
Can you see yourself?
See yourself
All alone
Left on the shelf
Or instead
Smokin' in bed
With a creep like me
You got the cutest reflection
The world has ever seen
Your beauty is i the sights of the beholder
And if I play my cards right
I"ll hold you tonight
If you can see my mirrors (yeah yeah yeah)
If you can see my mirrors (yeah yeah yeah)
If you can see my mirrors (yeah yeah yeah)
If you can see my mirrors (yeah yeah yeah)
If you can see my mirrors (yeah yeah yeah)
If you can see my mirrors (yeah yeah yeah)
If you can see my mirrors (yeah yeah yeah)
If you can see my mirrors (Woahhhhhh)
I can see you
The Tremors' song "Mirrors" is a playful and flirty tune about the power of sunglasses and how they can be used to attract someone's attention. The first verse explains how girls are attracted to guys who wear sunglasses, and the singer follows by saying that he's wearing mirrored shades to be noticed. The chorus asks the listener if they can see themselves being with the singer, as he compliments their appearance and invites them into his world.
The second verse gives the listener a peek into what lies behind the mirrored shades, which is a "smoked quartz oyster." The singer reveals his zodiac sign to be Scorpio, which is known for its secretive and passionate nature. The chorus repeats with the same compliment, asking if the listener can see themselves being with the singer, as he adds in a line about them being "left on the shelf" if they don't take the chance.
Overall, "Mirrors" is a catchy and cheeky song that celebrates the playfulness of attraction and the confidence that comes with it. The singer uses his mirrored shades as a metaphor for the mystery and allure that can draw someone in, while also acknowledging the strength and beauty of the listener.
