This Is the Place
The Tribe Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Do you believe we could start again
Be the way we were, we used to be then
Am I wrong in thinking we could turn back the clock
And get back what was, get back what is lost, oh no

I never knew how much I really needed you too
And now you're gone and it's too late 'cause I've lost you
This is the place where we laughed
Where we danced
Where we walked in the rain
Now it's not the same
This is the place where you cried
And I wiped all the tears from your face
This is the place

Love has taken a hold over me
I was mesmerized, but now I can see
And I remember when we were on fire
When you told me how you've never been higher, so high

I never knew how much I really needed you too
And now you're gone and it's too late cause I've lost you (oh baby)

This is the place where we laughed
Where we danced
Where we walked in the rain
Now it's not the same
This is the place where you cried
And I wiped all the tears from your face
This is the place

I really wanna hear you call my name
And tell myself that we can do it again
It should be really easy, not the end
We were made for each other
A friend and a lover
I really wanna lose myself in you
'Cause no-one else could love you the way that I do
And every time I find somebody new
That's when I discover
There's nobody other, other than you

I never knew how much I really needed you too
And now you're gone and it's too late cause I've lost you

This is the place where we laughed
Where we danced
Where we walked in the rain
Now it's not the same
This is the place where you cried
And I wiped all the tears from your face
This is the place

This is the place where we laughed
Where we danced
Where we walked in the rain
Now it's not the same
This is the place where you cried
And I wiped all the tears from your face
This is the place

Do you believe we could start again
Be the way we were, the way we were then

Why not both? Both is good. Or maybe it's inconic in part of it's cringe. It's fun cringe. Not all cringe is bad. If it makes you smile in a good way, it's good.

I adored The Tribe. It was like low budget Game of Thrones for me.

Does anyone else get this overbearing nostalgia that makes you want to cry. This show needs a remake but deep down in my heart I know it will never happen in my life time nor be the same. The heartache is bad it like I lost a child or love one or something.

glittery_cucumber

I'm with you. But ALSO! #KTDA there might still be a reboot
