I noticed you had some pretty major echo feedback going on Michael. I am not sure of your audio set up but it's usually a matter of muting the monitor or mic on the party's side.

You hear an echo when your voice is coming out of the speaker on the other end of the call and then back into the microphone in that same room. So the person (or room) on the other end of the call has to change something about their setup in order for you to be able to participate again without echoing. If the listening party was using speakers rather then headphones and a mic, there would be an echo issue because his mic is picking up what you are saying on his speakers and being fed back into his mic and thus, creating a loop.

- Make the listener mute themselves when they're not speaking.
- Have the person doing the audio for you take control of problem quickly by informing the other party to mute their mic.
- IF there is an audio person in the middle, they have to do the muting of the caller.
This should help resolve the echo business. If not, fire the audio engineer...lol.

Great Video Michael. I really enjoyed it. Lovely message regarding love.

Thanks to all! Regarding the "feedback", actually what happened is that while I video doing the radio show, I only hear the caller through my headphones. So, in order for the caller to be heard in the video version, I have to download the recorded audio and try to cut it in as precisely as possibly in an edit in iMovie. Try as I may sometimes it won't line up exactly, hence the "echo" or "feedback" effect when there actually wasn't one. Of course my tech skills are a bit lacking but that's how it goes. Nonetheless, thanks for the tech tips!

@Music By Candlelight Thanks very much, MBC, I would've (and obviously) never found this info!

I found this answer online Michael for you. But perhaps you may already know and tried this procedure?
-- Precision audio video sync in iMovie 10 ( sync an audio file created with an external source )

* Select the audio or video clip. Then press and hold down Option-Comma (or Caps Lock, then Option <). The selected clip will nudge left in increments of one frame. Apparently in older versions of iMovie, one could also press and hold down Option-dot (Caps Lock, then Option >) to make the clip nudge right. However, the nudge right does not work any longer. However, Final Cut Pro has the capability to nudge right or left in very small increments. *

I use HitFilm Express (free editor) for video on PC (not Mac) and the professional audio editor - Reaper DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) for my audio work. I can nudge and sync any audio track left or right in any increment to sync with video as needed then Render it to .mp4. The issue is with some movie editors is that some can not nudge an audio track in much finer increments than just one frame at a time. I too have this issue at times when I compose new music and needing to use a free pre-made video to accompany it. But ya, it can be a pain.

In regards to your experience with a sudden shift towards empathy in a moment of tension, I've had similar experiences like that. I try to remind myself that there is always a reason behind someone's foul mood or stress. You don't have to excuse the bad behavior but you can empathize instead of taking the situation personally. Kudos to you. In a world that lacks empathy, it's good to know there are others out there that still have it.

Thank you Michael. LOVE is our connection to all that is. LOVE is Creation is LOVE is ALL. The depth and breadth of everything. How beautiful.

Just some thoughts on the law of love... Unlike what humans consider love to be strictly a feeling of affinity for someone or something, real love is an ongoing thinking exercise to look for the connections in nature that demonstrate this binding of everything into one. For example in nature we can observe the tree and how it fits into the greater ecosystem. The leaves provide a source of food for some lifeforms. Other lifeforms use the leaves for nesting or bedding. The grown tree provides shade, and sometimes protective cover. The roots provide other life forms with food as well. The tree itself may also be a home to a multitude of creatures, finding space in the branches and trunk. Man can also use the wood for his own works. And you can imagine all the creatures who benefited from the tree went on to effect other life in this larger web. So we can see how a part pieces of nature (like a tree) operates within one larger system representing a greater whole. So the tree is not "there" just for itself, rather it is just one spoke in a much larger wheel. So when man spends his time mentally trying to see how nature operates interconnected, including himself, and tries to apply this, he is practicing this real love or the "law of love."

Some might wonder, "what is the point of finding all the connections to a tree?" Now that we established how important a tree is to the larger whole, man needs to discover this real love so that he realizes how many other creatures, lifeforms are intertwined, so that he dose NOT cut down all the damn rain forests for example; that would not be love no matter how many people in his meaningless life feel affinity for him, over breed with him, and carry on the destruction. So a human being who loves would never cut all the goddamn trees down. No... the responsible human BEING would only take the weaker trees, so that the forest can thrive even further. That would mean that in order to accomplish this, to leave enough trees for the rest of nature, man cannot exceed his populations so far that there is a need to cut everything down. How simple is that?
