I feel like this song is really layered - like instead of being about a single situation it's like a patchwork quilt of experiences stitched together by a single theme. Did all the band members contribute a little to this one? It addresses a lot, about feeling insignificant and unoriginal and unwanted, yet the melody has this courageous inspiring emotional drive to it. It hurts in the best way. It's great that Kyle uses the tone and timbre of his voice to texture and color in the song (though he does it on all of them). Wish I had discovered it earlier this year, would've been useful.
