The Vad Vuc's song Capitano Skaska-O-Man is about a character called the "Captain Skaska-o-man" who navigates through life with a special tool - a pencil. The pencil becomes a symbolic representation of a boat, taking the captain through life's journey. The lyrics describe how the captain navigates through life with ease and grace, propelled by his own thoughts and insights. The phrase "Chì ul "Sciur Capitano" sun propri me" translates to "Because the "Mr. Captain" is really me," suggesting that the captain embodies a certain sense of self-confidence and self-assurance.
The lyrics also talk about how the captain's travels have led him to tell stories, and how the pencil he carries with him allows him to easily draw out and illustrate his tales. The chorus of the song repeats the phrase "Che mi chiamavano 'Capitano Skaska-o-man'" which translates to "They called me 'Captain Skaska-o-man,'" suggesting that the captain is widely recognized and respected. The ending of the song describes how the captain and his thoughts are inseparable, as he journeys through life in the company of his own introspections.
Overall, the song seems to be a celebration of a person who is confidently navigating through the ups and downs of life with the help of their own thoughts and artistic talents.
