1. The Vicious was formed by Robert Petterson (Regulations, The Lost Patrol Band) on vocals and André Sandström (ex. D.S.-13 and The Lost Patrol Band) on drums. They recruited Sara Almgren (ex. The (International) Noise Conspiracy) on guitar and Andreas Johansson (Cult of Luna) on bass. I August '06 Andreas left the band and was replaced by Erik (who also sings in the band Insurgent Kid).
In early 2005 they recorded their first 7", Suicidal Generation, for Cage Match Federation. The 7" got rave reviews and the first press was quickly sold out.
In late summer 2005 they went into the studio to record a 12" together with Stefan Granberg from Randy. The six songs are a great reminder of the days when punk rock was punk rock and it echoes the sound of bands like The Damned, Dead Boys, Sex Pistols and such. The 12" was released on Ny Våg Records.
In late 2006, the "Alienated" LP was recorded, along with the songs that would be released on the "Obsessive" single. Both are available together on a CD, or separately on vinyl, from Feral Ward records.
The Vicious broke up. Almost all members went to form band Masshysteri.
2. The Dutch band "The Vicious" founded by Loes, Willem, Rob and Lise. Recorded 3 songs during October 2007 at Blazin´ Studios. They are called: "A Year Of Waterdaughters", "The Green eyed Monster" and "Whirlwind". There is more to come from this band. More info on http://www.myspace.com/theviciousband

The lyrics to The Vicious's song "Walking Dead" convey feelings of disillusionment and frustration with society. The singer sees "pale faces" and "uniforms all around," indicating a lack of individuality and conformity. They then express a desire to escape through violent means, asking "where's the gun?" and stating that they know their oppressors are enjoying their power. However, the chorus of the song seems to suggest that the singer feels like they are already surrounded by the "walking dead," implying a sense of hopelessness or futility in rebellion.
The use of the term "walking dead" could be interpreted in a number of different ways. It could refer to the monotony and soullessness of modern life, in which we all just shuffle around like zombies. Alternatively, it could suggest that those in power are actively working to dehumanize those they oppress, reducing them to mere shells of their former selves. The repetition of the chorus reinforces the idea that this is a widespread, societal problem rather than an individual one.
Overall, "Walking Dead" is a powerful commentary on the dehumanizing effects of conformity and oppression. Its lyrics are stark and direct, making it clear that the singer sees the world around them as bleak and hopeless. However, there is a note of defiance in the way that they refuse to just accept their fate as one of the "walking dead," even as they recognize the difficulty of escaping that fate.
