In 1988 the group released "Give Me Your Love" which resulted in international acclaim and extensive touring. At this point the group was riding a high in its short history and sang background on The Pet Shop Boys' "Domino Dancing" and were invited to tour Europe however other obligations did not permit the tour. In June 1992 the group released You Will Smile Again a deep departure from the groups dance routes, but emphasized the groups writing ability. The song crossed over into Spanish radio and was used as a theme song during Hurricane David. In 1992 the group toured Brazil for all live dates from Rio to Recife and played in many of the top TV shows in Brazil including the Xuxa show.
The group decided to go and explore different solo avenues which prompted the release of Project David that included two solo albums Now and Un Minuto A La Vez. David continued to explore other avenues including film both in writing and directing. While Sal focused on song writing and studio collaboration. David Hanono also sings regularly with London Exchange and is included as a vocalist on many of their releases.
The group returned with a new album in 2012. "The Moment of Truth" was a mix of old style freestyle, Euro pop and electronic dance pop music. It was a culmination of two years of work by The Voice and features collaborations with their former producer Lewis Martinee (Exposé, Pet Shop Boys, Germain Jackson), as well as Peter Marr (London Exchange) and Fro Sosa (Nuclear Valdez). It contained 11 new songs as well as two covers The Man Who Sold The World (David Bowie) and Domino Dancing (Pet Shop Boys), for which The Voice originally did the backing vocals.
Christmas Day 2019 saw the return of The Voice in Fashion with a new single “Bleeding Heart” containing various remixes of the song by Dj’s from Brazil, Puerto Rico and Amsterdam as well as new remixes of their international hit Give me your Love.
This maxi single and accompanying video released for New Years 2020 will be the first of a series of new releases planned throughout 2020 bringing the group into the new decade with their mix of various styles and sound collages for which they are known for.
Give Me Your Love

You left a trace away down low
In every breath I think of you
So many words I could say
Something to bring your guard down low
So much to gain, nothing to lose
Take a chance, in romance, it can only just happen tonight
Don't close your eyes, its all I want, its all I need
[Chorus:]
Love, love, give me your love
Once, twice, give me your love
Its all I want, its all I need
Anticipation setting, my head is spinning with regrets
I should have done this long before
Just be wide open to me
Give me the chance I'm looking for
And as a promise not to lose
Take a chance, in romance, it can only just happen tonight
Don't close your eyes, its all I want, its all I need
[Chorus: Repeat 2X]
Take a chance, in romance, it can only just happen tonight
Don't close your eyes, it's all I want, it's all I need
[Chorus: Repeat 2X]
The Voice in Fashion’s song “Give Me Your Love” is a love song that expresses the feeling of longing for someone who has left a very strong and memorable impact on the singer. The chorus of the song, “Love, love, give me your love, once, twice, give me your love, it’s all I want, it’s all I need” is an earnest plea from the singer for the person to come back to the singer’s life so they can have a chance of exploring what could have been an incredible romance. The singer acknowledges that taking a chance on this love can be very daunting and scary. However, they urge the person to not be afraid of the unknown because this romance can only be possible tonight.
In summary, the song “Give Me Your Love” is about the singer’s plea for a second chance to an old love that has left a lasting impression on them. The lyrics express the singer’s willingness to take a risk and continue with the romance that was halted in the past.
