ROBERT CHARLES HAYNES

First remember this disc being advertised in the NME along with "You Never Said Goodbye" by the Ranglers (TRE 1007). These discs I remembered being played originally on the David Symonds show on Radio 1, the "Nation's Number One Pop Party".

Apologies, only just become aware of your comments. Thanks for the info. Ray and I didn't meet until 1998, so it's nice to have info about his musical career.

I believe this is my late husband Ray Fairbrass (sometimes known as Ray Summers during his musical career - died October 29th 2014) singing lead vocals. He replaced original band member Tony Allison sometime around 1966. They played in Germany as well as France in the late 60's. Angela Fairbrass

Have only just got this message on gmail. Hi, say hello to your grandpa and grandma for me. I love him and your grandma to bits. Don't know if you're aware, but he and Ray were in business together some years after The Ways and Means disbanded, and remained very good friends right until Ray was no longer with us. Hope I'll see your grandpa and grandma again soon on their travels through France - it's always great to see them!

Can you post the b-side?

Angela Fairbrass

Again, apologies, as have only just become aware that anyone had posted re. this music. Unfortunately Ray told me that his  copy of this disc was "destroyed" - ( I shan't say by whom), many years ago.  We didn't meet until 1998. I would also like to hear the B side, so if you've managed to find it anywhere, please post.
