I Feel It Coming
The Weeknd Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Yeah, uh

Tell me what you really like
Baby, I can take my time
We don't ever have to fight
Just take it step-by-step
I can see it in your eyes
'Cause they never tell me lies
I can feel that body shake
And the heat between your legs

You've been scared of love and what it did to you
You don't have to run, I know what you've been through
Just a simple touch and it could set you free
We don't have to rush when you're alone with me

I feel it comin', I feel it comin', babe
I feel it comin', I feel it comin', babe
I feel it comin', I feel it comin', babe
I feel it comin', I feel it comin', babe

You are not the single type
So baby, this the perfect time
I'm just tryna get you high (I'm just tryin', babe)
And faded off this touch
You don't need a lonely night
So baby, I can make it right
You just gotta let me try (try)
To give you what you want

You've been scared of love and what it did to you
You don't have to run, I know what you've been through
Just a simple touch and it could set you free
We don't have to rush when you're alone with me

I feel it comin', I feel it comin', babe
I feel it comin', I feel it comin', babe
I feel it comin', I feel it comin', babe
I feel it comin', I feel it comin', babe

(I feel it comin', I feel it comin', babe)
(I feel it comin', I feel it comin', babe)
(I feel it comin', I feel it comin', babe)
(I feel it comin', I feel it comin', babe)

You've been scared of love and what it did to you
You don't have to run, I know what you've been through
Just a simple touch and it could set you free
We don't have to rush when you're alone with me (ooh)

I feel it comin' (I feel it comin')
I feel it comin', babe (I feel it comin', babe)
I feel it comin' (I feel it comin')
I feel it comin', babe (I know what you feel right now)
I feel it comin' (I feel it comin')
I feel it comin', babe (I feel it comin', babe)
I feel it comin' (I feel it comin')
I feel it comin', babe (I know what you say right now, babe)
I feel it comin' (na, na, na, na, na, na, na, I feel it comin')
I feel it comin', babe (I feel it comin' babe, oh, babe)
I feel it comin' (I feel it comin')
I feel it comin', babe (I know what you say right now, babe)
I feel it comin' (na, na, na, na, na, na, na, I feel it comin')
I feel it comin', babe (I feel it comin', baby)
I feel it comin' (I feel it comin')
I feel it comin', babe

(I feel it comin', babe)
(I feel it comin', babe)

(I feel it comin', babe)
(I feel it comin', babe)

This song has MJ vibes all over it. Truly a masterpiece.

@amirdennis3057

I agree. The directoral vision is similar to The Jacksons "Can You Feel It" video.

Human nature is the song used in here

@amirdennis3057

Human Nature is not the song used as a sample in this song. However, there clearly is homage payed to MJ by the retro look of the video (Classic 80's Style), as it resembles The Jackson's "Can You Feel It" (Watch The Video). The Weekend is also wearing an MJ jacket (Google It), The Weekend is also singing and dancing in a rhythmic similar style to MJ with a mixture of The Weekends own singing and dancing style. All in all, both artists are great, both could make the so g sound great, and I just give Respect to any artist of this generation that knows MJ is the one who influenced them to do what they are doing as artists today.

When I first heard it back then I thought it was him singing the hook, I for a split second felt like a kid again in the 90's hearing new music from MJ...😌 Lol nostalgic, I'm sure he's given his thumbs up to most of The Weekends catalog.
