Same, I caught him on November 23 2020, I remember the date because after that day my life changed. On Nov 23 I watched him sing in your eyes and save your tears, and I thought they was a bop só the next day I went back and listened to it again. A few weeks past then I started listening to the entire after hours album. I didn’t wanna get attached too much so I didn’t wanna overdo it. A few months past then I started listening to Starboy, some MDM. Few more months passed and I took on BBDM. Gave kiss land a chance, it took some getting used to, still iffy on it. Then mannnnyyy months later I fell upon trilogy. (By this time I was already obsessed with him)
Present day: I celebrate Nov 23 now, his birthday, The Weeknd day in Canada etc. I watch all his stats through this Instagram channel (Abel’s post). I’ve learned all the lyrics to most to all his songs. He’s inspired me to get into music and now I play keyboard and sing because of him, sometimes write my own songs. He’s the only person I listen to, all at, like 100%, just him. I’m like obsessed with him now, and my school knows me for being a The Weeknd addict. Like it’s bad 💀 really bad.
Nothing hits more than his songs and I can’t pick a favorite, today I listened to Montreal for the first time. One time was enough and I will return tm to listen again.
I post him sometimes on my channel (did an edit of trust issues two days ago and a few months back did Fan art of him, which took hours. I’m an artist. I should stop typing, XOTWOD I
