This album is like a bookmark in my life. The band I played in from 1997 - 2001, we eventually dialed into the same sound and musicianship as in this album. We knew where we were at and where we wanted to go, but we just couldn't make it happen. Maybe like 15 years later, I found several copies of The Long Walk on vinyl through some shady website, but it all came through and I sent one to each of my old bandmates. They knew exactly where I was coming from. Bookmarked.
