The White Buffalo is said to be a throwback to the time of hard touring, hard drinking artists who really lived what they sang about. Everything about him is big, from his imposing physical size to his amazing vocal range. He’s as comfortable playing in a dive bar as he is in front of thousands in a European arena.
The White Buffalo released his debut EP, The White Buffalo EP in 2005 to much critical acclaim. His later releases, including his debut album Hogtied Revisited (2009), Prepare for Black & Blue EP (2010) and second album Once Upon a Time in the West (2012) reached similar accliam.
The White Buffalo's song 'Wrong' was featured on the Taylor Steele/Keith Malloy surf movie 'Shelter'.
The White Buffalo joined the Forest Rangers to record a cover of 'House of the Rising Sun' by The Animals for the season 4 finale of Sons of Anarchy.

They call the Rising Sun
And it's been the ruin of many a poor girl
And me, Oh God, I'm one
If I listened to my mama
Lord I'd be home today
But I was young and foolish
Go tell my baby sister
Never do what I've done
To shun the house in Charming Town
They call the Rising Sun
My Mother, she's a tailor
She sewed my new blue jeans
My sweetheart he's a rambler
Lord he rides an old machine
Now the only thing a rambler needs
Is a suitcase and a gun
The only time he's satisfied
Is when he's on the run
He fills his chamber up with lead
And takes his pain to town
Only pleasure he gets out of life
Is bringing another man down
He's got one hand on the throttle
The other on the brake
He's riding back to Redwood
On his father's stake
And me I wait in Charming Town
To gain my love as one
I'm staying here to end my life
Down in the Rising Sun
And I'm staying here to end my life
Down in the Rising Sun
The White Buffalo/The Forest Rangers's song "House of the Rising Sun" is a powerful and emotional retelling of the classic folk song. The singer begins by describing a house in Charming Town that is known as the Rising Sun. This house has been the ruin of many girls, including the singer herself. She laments that if she had listened to her mother, she would not be in this predicament, but she was young and foolish and followed a handsome rider who led her astray. Now she warns her baby sister to never do what she has done and to avoid the house in Charming Town.
The singer next sings about her mother, who is a tailor and sewed her new blue jeans, and her sweetheart, who is a rambler and rides an old machine. She describes the lifestyle of a rambler, who only needs a suitcase and a gun and is only satisfied when he is on the run. The singer then sings about the pleasure that her sweetheart gets out of life, which is bringing another man down, and how he's coming back to Redwood on his father's stake with one hand on the throttle and the other on the brake.
The song ends with the singer staying in Charming Town to end her life down in the Rising Sun. The power of this song lies in its raw emotion and vivid storytelling, which creates a haunting and unforgettable portrait of the human condition.

@odyxai3870
from what I understood in all seasons that:
1) We should not keep secrets from our own family, even if it is unpleasant
2) we must not lie to our own even if it is bad
because it can lead to a lot of harm
3) revenge is very bad
when his son told him that his grandmother killed his mother .... my hair stood on end
