The White Tie Affairโs โCandleโ is a song about heartbreak and the struggle that comes with moving on. The first verse describes the singerโs state after going through a breakup. He expresses how fed up he is of being tired and miserable all the time. The lyrics, โI'm so sick and tired of being sick and tired,โ relay the exhaustion and sadness that he feels. Additionally, he mentions that his ex-girlfriend has written a note to him before leaving him. The next verse goes on to detail the absence of the singerโs lover, both physically and emotionally.
