The World Organization of the Righteous Movement [W.O.R.M.] Lyrics

Excuse me as i start to trip
But I stay woke and I can see
This ain't no dream it's the Apocalypse
So let's get lit
As the sun goes down hope it melts off all your face
Watch the plastic drip into the pit of love
As the world turns now it's just spinnin' out of place
First off "Fuck 2020"
Moment of silence
We lost legends, couldn't breathe, and had to burn the city
Moments of violence
It was bad boy from the start and I ain't talkin' Diddy
Corona Virus
Made a band though spent it on a whip that fit me
Now I'm ridin'
Get that bag
Quick cash niggas just don't last
And they couldn't hide the fake from behind the mask
Ghostin' ho-ho-ho's like Christmas past
Orange nigga only one to go low and show his ass
All on lockdown, got us doin' time like a wristwatch
As we tick tock Granny do that dance
Birthdays holidays man I missed my fam
Just had to do it like Nike and zoom on the gram
On IG clownin' with my cousins, cousins, cousins, cousins, cousins
R.I.P. to those that lost a loved one, loved one, loved one, loved one, loved one
I don't really know what twenty-one has in store
But I'm Black jack and one thing I know for sure
Is that I really don't trust a cure
And the party don't
And the party don't stop for war
As the sun goes down hope it melts off all your face
Watch the plastic drip into the pit of love
As the world turns now it's just spinnin' out of place
Let the record skip until we drift above
We the People who see the People
Gon' be the People that free the People
We're all essential, the work is equal
So bring the jobs back, we need the People
Cut-cut the check bitch and feed the People
Your forces force is illegally lethal
The Racists basis is based in evil
And laced with hate that's aimed at Negros
The time is now to rise the regal
The wise the royal the Golden Beatle
Who wear the crown put down your ego
Pick up the power and let the streets know
Rep your town LB's the fecal
Ten toes down that's how my feet go
Protect your roots, that's how a tree grow
ET's touched down, they come in peace though
As the sun goes down hope it melts off all your face
Watch the plastic drip into the pit of love
As the world turns now it's just spinnin' out of place
Let the record skip until we drift above
Yeah(Yeah)2020 was hard for all of us y'all
But you know what, we made it
Be a good human, spread love, be love
Welcome to the new world experience 2021
We all in this together
And Black lives Matter forever
I'm out
The lyrics of The World Organization of the Righteous Movement [W.O.R.M.]'s song "The World" convey a sense of awareness and reflection on the state of the world in 2020. The artist starts by expressing a feeling of disbelief, as if they were dreaming when they wrote the song. However, they quickly assert their consciousness and state that what they are witnessing is not a dream but the Apocalypse. The song urges the listeners to embrace the chaos and uncertainty, to "get lit" and face the challenges head-on.
The lyrics then delve into various themes and issues that characterized 2020. The artist references the COVID-19 pandemic, expressing frustration and grief over the loss of legends and the struggles faced by individuals. They also touch upon the racial tensions and protests that erupted, likening them to the bad boy image of P. Diddy. The lyrics criticize the handling of the pandemic by mentioning the allocation of funds to personal expenses instead of benefiting the community.
The song also emphasizes the importance of unity and empowerment. The artist rallies the people to rise against racism and fight for equality. They highlight the essential role that every individual plays in shaping the world and call for solidarity and support for one another. The lyrics end with a message of hope and determination, declaring that despite the hardships, they made it through and encourage listeners to spread love and be a force for positive change.
