This one song proves the Yardbirds were ahead of their time and, no matter the praise, were one of the most underrated bands of early rock N roll.

Who the hell else was playing like this in 1965?
Mind-blowing.

@chazboner7041

Answer: absolutely NO ONE. Not Townshend,Crapton, and certainly not that overrated Hendrix. Beck was a virtuoso who could play it all: Jazz,Rockabilly,Blues, Psychedelia,Pop. A mad genius.

@@chazboner7041 No Townshend wasn’t playing like this in 1965, as a musical genius, he was experimenting with heavy metal feedback! Who the hell else was playing like this in 1965, no one, the rhythm section owned this decade!

@Negus Negast Yes, yes, yes: Hendrix OVERRATED!

@parmec1875

@@mudstone6497 The BBC version live-studio, March 1965, of Anyhow Anyway Anywhere was also more full of unbeliveble effects!

@mudstone6497

@@parmec1875 yes, my head bounces when I listen to that version!
