Warriors
The Yordles Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

As a child, you would wait
And watch from far away.
But you always knew that you'd be the one
To work while they all play.

And you, you lay, awake at night and scheme
Of all the things that you would change,
But it was just a dream!

Here we are, don't turn away now,
We are the warriors that built this town.

Here we are, don't turn away now,
We are the warriors that built this town.
From Dust.

The time will come, when you'll have to rise
Above the best, and prove yourself,
Your spirit never dies!
Farewell, I've gone, to take my throne
Above, don't weep for me
Cause this will be the labor of my love

Here we are, don't turn away now,
We are the warriors that built this town.

Here we are, don't turn away now,
We are the warriors that built this town.
From Dust.

Here we are, don't turn away now,
We are the warriors that built this town.

Here we are, don't turn away now,

We are the warriors that built this town.
From Dust.

Loved the guitar sound you got in this one! Was fun participating, might consider throwing in some credits too ;-)

Little known fact, Even for a cover such as this Miles still records every instrument and mixes them all together from scratch. Not using the original backing tracks as most probably would and do. That's dedication.

Kaza Ookami

definitely does justice to this song. wasn't sure it was possible to get that same goosebumpy spine tingle feel as i do from the imagine dragons version but you guys did it!

Really nice, I loved that screaming part at around 1:05 and the edits you did to the song were great! Keep it up man! That solo sounded sick!

God watching the history of league competitive play while listening to this is just amazing. Especially the time when TPA came into the scene. Then the SSW moment just made me miss watching worlds when that was happening and made me feel for the old rift. I really hope they do something as bone chilling as the imagine dragons song again. Just logging in to randomly hearing it while seeing that crisp cup was an experience.

I like the "UberGuitarTouch" you bring to each of the covers you do. I would have sent in my own vox if I wasn't so bad at singing/busy/shy/bad/ shy and stuff... It turned out quite nicely :3
