This stunning song gave me the push I needed to come out. The first time I heard it I had just been at Bristol Pride so it struck one hell of a chord. I am not ashamed of my tears

Naz and Matt Foundation

Thank you for your strength and courage, and thank you for sharing your story. I hope you're safe and well x

Droid Factory Props

Just discovered this amazing song. Very emotional. Dont even know you guys and I'm proud of you for this. Much love.

Brendon Lindsay

I heard this for the first time earlier on BBC 6music. Such a beautiful and heartfelt song, it had me in floods of tears

Treek

Such a beautiful, heart breakingly sad, yet also positive, hopeful and inspiring song.

When I first heard Matthew and Naz's story it broke my heart, as I had assumed that this song had been written about when homosexuality was illegal, not a tragedy that only happened a few years ago. Both my daughter and my nephew are in very loving, same sex marriages and I have never understood why anyone would have a problem with them. To find love is such a wonderful thing and should be excepted and celebrated in all.

David Moreton

I heard this for the first time at Greenbelt 2022 as I was walking past the main stage. It made me stop. I heard him mention Matt and Naz, my heart jumped a beat. I started to weep inside (Typically British) . I lost my son to suicide at 15 years old. The pain never goes away, one just learns to live with it and remember the fabulous memories. My prayers and thoughts are with you Matt. Any faith that condemns one to death is abhorrent. Love will win.

Graham Nelson

Beautiful song and wonderfully performed. (I could listen to that guy's voice all day long!)

Lyd Arlo

goosebumps. This is so important and so well done. Very emotional, thanks for being an insparation <3
Love from someone who has experienced homophobia first hand and felt it's sting <3

Carol Cripps

This is the saddest video I have ever seen. I really hope that mankind gets its collective head out of its ass to see that love is love, end of, sometime soon. People shouldn't feel that they must choose between their families and their partners, or between their religion and their partners. This is a beautiful song about an ugly situation.

Paulina Slater

Solid beautiful, string, tender and true. Thanks and congratulations to the Young'uns and to Matt. With love, Paulina
