1) The And were a delightful 1980s pop/new wave band. This fivesome from Madison, WI fulfills the request in spades with their up-tempo superficial new wave synth pop tunes.

2) The And is a young alternative poprock band from the Hague, Holland, in the 60´s home town of famous artists like Shocking Blue, Q65 and The Golden Earrings but also Anouk, Kane & Di-rect took a walk on the beach sometime dreaming of surfing high on the unpredictable waves of rock. Mark my words, within two years you can add The And to your list of favourite Dutch bands. Why? At this moment they are working on their debut album in the Sounds Interesting studio of Gruppo Sportivo´s famous antihero Hans Vandenburg, who also has been bandcoaching them over the last year.
