They were formed in 1973 and are still releasing records today. Their lineup has changed over the years, as has their musical style, although it has not strayed too far from the "roots reggae" style that they are generally categorized as.
With Dean Pond in the touring lineup (Dean Pond, founder of Dub Mystic and one time musical director and drummer for Culture, and V.I. producer of the year) this year (??) should prove to be even bigger for Third World.

And brought a song of love and life for
Everyone
For everyone to sing
It's true, it's true, it's true
It's blowing in the wind
Blowing from a landUpon a, upon a upon a hill so high
That land is Zion, oh
Hey, let's sing a song for all the Jah children
We're gonna sing it with one heart, yeah
We're gonna sing it with one love
Once there's love all over the world
No one's gonna take it away
Once there's love at) over the world
No one's gonna take it away
Etc....
Tell me/ who's gonna take it?
There's a love we must share
Yes, you can find it almost everywhere
Oh, I can feel it in the air
In the air
And the song that we sing
Don't we know the love that it brings
Oh, the joy that it brings
Hey, let's sing a song for all of God's children
We're gonna sing it with one heart, oh yes
We're gonna sing it with one love, yeah
Once there's love all over the worldNo one's gonna take it away
Once there's love at) over the world
No one's gonna take it away
Etc....
Tell me/ who's gonna take it?
No one can
Tell me who
No one can take away the heart
I said, once there's love all over this world
Hey, tell me who
Once there's love all over the world
No one's gonna take it away
Once there's love all over the world

Brother you got the power do anything.....Sister you got the power to rearrange....... I love Third World.......
@jean-erictateia3273
The majority of Jamaican REGGAE groups play REGGAE, the tempo is there and we build an orchestration and lyrics on it .THIRD WORLD is radically different, you just have to listen and from the start, you are trained towards paths full of originality, creativity, rich, subtle sounds which pleasantly surprise and which immediately bring more obvious to the orchestration not to mention the vocal, the accuracy of the voices, the spirited rhythm which does not weaken for a single moment unless this is not to bring more to the musical quality with a silence, a break in tone or a digression that surprises us and leads us to another musical track, a short moment to bring us back very quickly to the main track, all with ONE GREAT TALENT.In my humble opinion of music enthusiast from all walks of life, THIRD WORLD is the most creative and most original reggae group in the history of REGGAE and far away. I'm not going to talk about the BACKGROUND, the lyrics that are common to all the big JAMAICAN REGGAE groups and to all the RASTAS but of the FORM, the richness and the musical creativity, not only is their REGGAE BEAUTIFUL but it is FULL OF WARMTH, FULL OF SUN, this sun of JAMAICA, it is an invitation to dance, from the first notes, we do not get bored for a second, this is where their STRENGTH and their MUSICAL GENIUS ... it is a pity that they are not known more to the younger generations because they could immediately make the difference with all the other groups and there is no photo, they are the best and they will remain so, for me, definitely because the REGGAE of today has changed or evolve, for good or for bad, towards something called the REGGAETON and that, I prefer to tell you, I do not like at all, it is a form of degeneration of REGGAE, the REGGAE that we appreciate and love, here or elsewhere in the world ...
