1. THIS which is colourful in style and image, was established in December, 2005. Although the idea of the band was in the minds of guitar players in 2004.
During the years THIS has overcome many changes like new drummer or new vocals. Luckily changes have finished and now the band consists of:
Jausme Elena Stonkute - Vocals
Romanas Dzindzeleta - Guitar
Justas Grigaravicius - Guitar
Vytautas Vansavicius - Bass
Ruta Buivydaite - Keyboard
Mindaugas Stundzia - Drums
The diversity of members' taste brought THIS to create and develop inparticular style of music. However, it's much like pop rock with savour of jazz, funk, hard rock, etc.
2. Jimmy Chamberlin after leaving The Smashing Pumpkins formed a band called This in late 2009 with multi-instrumentalists Mike Reiner and Anthony Pirog. They had released a six-track EP entitled Great Civilizations online on November 1st 2010, but removed it soon afterwards because they were unhappy with their name. A little later the band announced that their new name is Skysaw.
3. THIS is a three piece Rock 'N Roll group from Florida, USA formed in 2019 by Luke Fernandez (guitar/vocals), Oliver Gale (drums), and Shane Gulla (bass). Combining their love for the true Roots of Rock 'N Roll and the sleazy danceability of England's best to create a sound that is both bubblegum and chewing tobacco, Bvlgari shades and kitchen tattoos.

A view that's oh so pretty
Laughin' it up at the world
Watching windows fog so sleepy
A crowded car can't keep me
From day dreaming all of the world
Leaving tracks behind my footsteps
Acting it out through the floors every way in a day it's a crazy delay
Underneath the clouds of pink today
stopped me dead in my tracks
When all the lights went black
What goes up must come down city lights town after town
Through this ride I'm thinkin'
what kind of human is this
are they alkalined
and feminine or are they lost in toxic masculine
is there a Goddess a queen before them
or a Latina crossing borders wants a wall between us
or do they understand
we're all souls deep
through different melanin
eyes closed
yeah our souls speak
city lights are floating by
we're feeling anxious inside
is there a love at home that's waiting oh so patiently
maybe a sick mother who fed from the breast so happily
so easy to breathe in deeply while we riding this train
are they creative a mastermind
or racing the hands of time
afraid of getting old while rocking these shows
i guess i'll never know
but here's my stop ahead
i stand tall head high with my headphones in
i guess i'll never know
but here's my stop ahead
i stand tall head high with my headphones in
Stopped us dead in our tracks
When All the lights went black
What goes up must come down city lights town after town
What goes up must come down city lights town after town
What goes around comes around, and I don't wanna' come back down
What goes around comes around, and I don't wanna' come back
what kind of human is this
are they alkalined
and feminine or are they lost in toxic masculine
is there a Goddess a queen before them
or a Latina crossing borders wants a wall between us
or do they understand
we're all souls deep
through different melanin

afraid of getting old while rocking these shows

i stand tall head high with my head phones in

The lyrics to the song "Town" by This describe a train ride into the city where the singer is daydreaming while watching the world go by. The train ride is filled with many questions about the people on the train and their lives - what kind of humans are they, are they lost in toxic masculinity, is there a queen or a Latina crossing borders, and so on. The lyrics also touch on the idea of the city lights representing a fast-paced, anxious world that is always on the go, with people afraid of getting old while still trying to keep up with their busy lives. The song ends with the singer reaching their destination, but still filled with questions about the people around them and their lives.
Overall, the song seems to be a reflection on the human condition and how we all share similar struggles and experiences, even though we may come from different backgrounds and have different beliefs. The city serves as a metaphor for the modern world, with its fast-paced lifestyles and constant pressure to keep up with the latest trends and technologies. The lyrics suggest that despite all of this, there is still hope for human connection and understanding if we take the time to listen to each other and try to understand what makes us all unique.

Lyrics
Waking up to kiss you and nobody's there
The smell of your perfume still stuck in the air
It's hard
Yesterday I thought I saw your shadow running round
It's funny how things never change in this old town
So far from the stars
And I want to tell you everything
The words I never got to say the first time around
And I remember everything
From when we were the children playing in this fairground
Wish I was there with you now
If the whole world was watching I'd still dance with you
Drive highways and byways to be there with you
Over and over the only truth
Everything comes back to you
I saw that you moved on with someone new
In the pub that we met he's got his arms around you
It's so hard
So hard
And I want to tell you everything
The words I never got to say the first time around
And I remember everything
From when we were the children playing in this fairground
Wish I was there with you now
Because if the whole world was watching I'd still dance with you
Drive highways and byways to be there with you
Over and over the only truth
Everything comes back to you
You still make me nervous when you walk in the room
Them butterflies they come alive when I'm next to you
Over and over the only truth
Everything comes back to you
And I know that it's wrong
That I can't move on
But there's something about you
If the whole world was watching I'd still dance with you
Drive highways and byways to be there with you
Over and over the only truth
Everything comes back to you
You still make me nervous when you walk in the room
Them butterflies they come alive when I'm next to you
Over and over the only truth
Everything comes back to you
Everything comes back to you
