I was at the Premiere, and Thomas Bergersen was there himself talking about the songs. He said that one was "the proudest I have been of any piece. It is probably the best I have and will ever write." Also, the humming in the intro is Bergersen's own voice.

I was listening to this while doing something else on another site. I kept switching back to the YouTube tab because I was positive something visually exciting was happening. Hehe, but obviously not. I listened to this during the middle of the night, with the ocean waves by my side and the starry sky above me. I looked up, and I saw the stars. But surrounding the stars was...darkness. And it was then it became apparent to me. The stars aren't just the light. With only light the stars wouldn't be visible. The stars are the light and the darkness. Only by combining those two elements is it possible to create something so beautiful. A masterpiece. Like this song. A 8 minute battle between the light and darkness. No....not a battle. A dance. As they grow closer together and suddenly you can't make out the difference, because they become one.
