All I Want For Christmas Is You
Thomas Carla Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Let the kiddies have the toys
Let the grown-ups make the noise
Give the neighbors all the presents
Under the tree

Give the snow and mistletoe
To the ones who love them so
But you'll be quiet enough
For me

When old Santa rides his sleigh
He can please me right away
With a present that forever will be new

Tell him my poor heart will sink
[Incomprehensible]
For all I want for Christmas is you

When old Santa rides his sleigh
He can please me right away
With a present that forever will be new

Tell him my poor heart will sink

[Incomprehensible]
For all I want for Christmas is you

Let the kidees have the toys

Give the neighbors all the presents
Under the tree

Give the snow and mistletoe
To the ones who love them so
But you'll be quite enough for me

When old Santa rides his sleigh
He can please me right away
With a present that forever will be new

Tell him my poor heart would sing
If one gift he'll only bring
For all I want for Christmas is you

Oh Santa rides his sleigh
He can please me right away
With a present that forever will be new
Tell him my poor heart would sing
If one gift he'll only bring
For all I want for Christmas is you

John, I understand more than you know how you feel. I lost my mother in 1994, but I think about her each day while wishing she were still here. You just be brave and realize as I believe, that your mother will always be with you, send her plenty of hugs and kisses because I know that she’s looking down on you and sending those same hugs and kisses to you. I’ve lost most of my family since 2010 and now they’re only three of us siblings left so doing this Christmas season. Look at it as a blessing, talk to your mother and send those love and kisses. But most of all, remember, she will always be there for you.
