Borborygmes

The song "Borborygmes" by Thomas Fersen is about a couple, Roselyne and the singer, who are in a cramped and uncomfortable room, staring at the ceiling. The singer's stomach is gurgling loudly, and his throat is making sucking noises, which he cannot control, as his stomach is an enigma. He wishes to leave the room, especially since Roselyne's knee is pressing uncomfortably against his bladder. He declares that if they had bunk beds instead of a single, his leg would not be numb.
The singer suggests they go smoke in the bathroom, as he knows what it is like to sleep on the floor. He has spent hours "at the edge of the bed" when his significant other has snored loudly like a bear. He comments on the old-fashioned furniture and a Venetian mask hanging on the wall, which reminds him of the ones he saw at Monoprix yesterday. He feels the room is lacking ventilation, and Roselyne's breath is coming in his direction. He states that her breath would not ferment if she sucked on mint candies.
Despite Roselyne's wish to live alone, the singer argues that even when they fight, a single camping bed is enough for the both of them. In the end, he concludes that when they are in love, they are one.
