I love this scene. Unfortunately this movie caught some negative attention for lack of character development but honestly they didn't need it. Its called AVP for a reason. Humans just drive the story forward.

@6ix6tar Hollywood execs believe the general public are dumb and need a human element for us to relate. Don't get me started on casting....they always seem to cast at least one hetero, non binary, androgynous, trans etc to appeal to all viewers.
These factors ruin filmmaking so much so that it's not about the story actually but maximising revenue. Their efforts to into this and more but tend to stray away from the storyline.

@OF_OniiChan filmmakers and writers can pull it odd by treating it like a silent film. Look at Wall E, they treated that movie as a silent film and the viewers can understand it.

@6ix6tar one way to do that is to create a dialogue for them creatures. ATM humans are the only passage for that storyline plot to get across to its viewers, us. Once they have dialogue, or at least some way to convey the plot, there'd be no need for human element.

Alien vs Predator. We showed up to watch these two have more scenes and action. That is what we should expect as viewers. Less humans. Same goes with Godzilla vs King Kong or Transformers. I want to see more of the action fantasy from these characters and less focus on humans.

@ilikechocolatemilkSR-71 I mean to be fair it really wasn’t that violent for a R rating yeah it had strong language but the violence wasn’t as crazy as it made out to be but still T1 and 2 were very good but it was because of the action and story not the violence and Salvation was very dark for a pg 13 film but it did have its flaws as well

I always loved Scar, he’s my third favorite Predator next to Jungle and City. He’s careful, smart, patient, and unlike his partners, little to no cockiness.
I’m sure he would’ve earned the upmost honor and respect from that mission if he’d survived, and if AVPR didn’t happen

@Mohammed Faizaan Moola that is a really awesome memory to have and I'm happy your dad helped you to live that! Too many parents are worried too much with their children growing up and well providing and so miss moments like that unfortunately. But that's something you'll always keep and when you have kids I'm sure you will make sure to make special moments like that as well. I remember watching the movies with my grandpa who raised me because my parents liked drugs instead, and we would have fun enjoying them. Even the separate movies as well. Just not as much aliens because the language he wouldn't want me to hear as much and the nudity because I was young haha. He was old school but very kind and is the reason I am caring and loving of everybody.

Those movies made my childhood, because I remember coming back from school every day and sitting there with my popcorn watching predators and aliens fighting lol. Then using my imagination to pretend I was a predator fighting aliens while wearing cardboard armor me and my dad made lol. I even gave my mask Scar's scar.

Considering he was young blood, he had incredible potential. I think you could call him a prodigy in his race. First mission and he handled it like an experienced predator. That's quite impressive especially compared to the other two. I guess he could've become an elite or even greater with more experience, too bad that the mission was close to a suicide mission. Scar seemed calm and collected, rather than overconfident. It's almost like comparing brutes in halo , lore wise. The highest ranking brutes such as the war chieftains and Blood stars were calm and tactical, while other brutes had a habit of going berserk due to their massive strength and primal instinct.

Scar was a skilled youngblood, he was even the youngest of the three. Imagine his potential if he was never impregnated, survived and killed the Queen, of course with the help of woman. He would probably embark on a journey like Wolf, and join forces with other yautja and team up to take down a Hive. He would be a badass elite, just like Wolf.

The funniest thing about the franchise is that for Humans, Xenomorphs are a terrifying horror. But for the Yautja, Xenomorphs are like an especially dangerous tiger that also happens to be a very large bug, which makes for a great hunting trophy😂

The only beef I have with this show is the director chooses when the xenomorph’s acid blood is detrimental to the predators.

I believe the face hugger’s blood would be acidic and should’ve melted his blade. He was also standing in the fallen face hugger’s blood.

You know even if wolf did survive the battle from the Queen I think he would’ve noticed the alien inside himself and maybe ripped it out before it did any major damage. After all predators have hecka will power and somewhat a resilience to pain.

The good thing about this film is that they haven't messed up any of the facts or behaviours related to the Predator and Alien species from the earlier movies. We can still re-watch Alien (1979) and Predator (1987) umpteen number of times without feeling disappointed by the 2004 spin off, which isn't the case for spin-offs of most other cult classics.

The one thing I wish this movie would've done is show the 3 predators unable to work with one another because they're so use to being a one man show. This would've been perfect to show them realizing that they are even more stronger and dangerous working together and kinda show them growing up together just like soldiers in war! I think audiences would be more impacted at the loss of a Predator in this way instead of having one Alien kill two of them at the same time just because... 😔

I always loved Scar, second favorite predator in the franchise (behind Wolf), but he let me down in this scene. If it weren't for him not noticing that one facehugger, the events of AVPR wouldn't have happened and hundreds or even thousands of lives would've been saved

I’ve always had mixed feelings about this movie & I always try to pinpoint why? But ultimately think, I didn’t like how the Yuatja was killed off so quickly in this movie, plus I hated the scenery. But other than that the movie is solid, I actually Like the Female lead & a couple of the characters;especially Scar.

I like how the one with the cool mask makes a big deal about fighting an alien and dies in the end, this one simply gets it over with, it's like that guy who is all talk but gets knocked out in one punch, but the quiet guy that no one expects anything from turns out to be a badass

I'm all for having a popcorn flick but there were too many continuity issues, plot holes, technical flaws, questionable motives, and logic problems with this movie it was hard to just have fun watching, especially since I'm a big fan of both franchises.

@the unreal player These were young bloods. Basically, just teens on their first day on the job. A real hunter like the one from AvP Requiem (or 2, whatever) would've had close to no trouble when dealing with this infestation.

There wasn't supposed to be such a large amount of xenomorphs present. That's another reason why they didn't stand much of a chance. The final one was their lack of proper weaponry, i.e ranged firearms.
