From there, the band would continue to rise in the charts. In 2007, they released their fifth full-length, The Flame in All of Us, which was produced by Ken Andrews (Beck, Chris Cornell, Pete Yorn). Arriving in 2009, the aggressive Welcome to the Masquerade, which would be the band's last release with Tooth & Nail, entered the Billboard Top 200 at number 35, peaking at number two on the Christian rock chart. It was their most successful album to date and would spawn the band's first live album, Live at the Masquerade. The group's next studio album, The End Is Where We Begin, was issued in 2012. It was their first album released entirely independently. Continuing the upward chart trajectory with each subsequent release, The End debuted at number 14 on the Billboard 200, and claimed the top spots on both the hard rock and Christian charts. In late 2013, the band released Made in Canada: The 1998-2010 Collection, which included two new tracks. Thousand Foot Krutch remained independent into 2014, relying on crowd-sourcing for the release of the energetic Oxygen: Inhale, the first part of a pair of hard rock chart-topping LPs. The heavier Exhale followed in 2016, marking TFK's third consecutive Christian number one.
Break the Silence

Tryin' hard not to (make moves, choosin' the wrong place and time)
Everyone will know , the minute we let it go,
I can't hold it anymore, let's be original
[Chorus]
No holes barred, can you feel it?
Comin' along, Break the silence, Non-Directional,
Comin' along, Its on, Hit the switch and turn me on
You make me feel, complicated
Sometimes I try to explain the way you took me,
Turned it all around, Everyone will know, the minute we let it go,
I can't take it anymore, let's be original
[Chorus: x2]
I'm crawling my way through, I'm falling into you,
I'm turning on things I thought I knew,
I'm slipping away, everytime I try, to be more like you
[Chorus]
Lets get it on, if ya feel it comin' on
If you're real then come along,
If you feel the song, come on
Bring it on, bring it on
Lets get it on, if ya feel it comin' on
If you're real then come along,
If you feel the song, come on
Bring it on, bring it on
In "Break The Silence," Thousand Foot Krutch expresses the exhilarating yet complicated emotions of being in love. The lead singer expresses how the other person in the relationship makes him feel alive, but also how he struggles with choosing the right moment to make a move. The lyrics suggest that the relationship may not have been secret, but the moment they decide to pursue their feelings, "everyone will know." The singer seems hesitant to take the next step, but he can't hold back anymore, urging his partner to be "original" and take a chance with him.
The chorus emphasizes the intensity of their feelings, with the phrase "No holds barred" indicating that there are no limits to what they are willing to do to be together. The repetition of "can you feel it?" reinforces the visceral and emotional nature of their connection. The bridge continues this theme, as the singer confesses that he is falling into the other person, even though it goes against what he thought he knew about himself. The song ends with a final call to action, urging the other person to join him in taking a chance on love.
