1) Three were a post-hardcore band signed to Dischord records featuring members of Gray Matter and ex-Minor Threat drummer Jeff Nelson. Formed in 1986, they broke up by 1988 just before releasing an album called Dark Days Coming. They are best known for their song "Swann Street" which featured on their sole album as well as a couple of Dischord compilations.
After recording the Egg Hunt songs in England, Ian MacKaye and Jeff Nelson considered forming a new band. They played with Geoff Turner and Steve Niles of Gray Matter, but the project never got off the ground and Ian decided to leave. The others carried on, and soon added yet another Gray Matter member, Mark Haggerty, and this line-up would become Three. Meanwhile, Steve had started his own comic book company, Arcane Comix, which he operated out of the apartment that he shared with Geoff on Swann Street in the Dupont Circle area of DC. It was this street that served as inspiration for the song of the same name, and the line "these berries smell like shit" referred to the small fruits that dropped to the sidewalks from the Ginkgo trees on the block. Three did a few short tours, and recorded at Geoff's home studio as well as Inner Ear. Things were looking up for them, but the band self-destructed before their album came out. Three and Happy Go Licky played their last shows together on New Year's Day, 1988.

2) Three consists of a set of identical triplet sisters, Fanny, Frida and Sofia, from Sweden. They are best known for their 2010 single “Lucky Number” and have released a self-titled debut album.
3) Imagine the best of three musical worlds harmoniously melting together - in this case, warm acoustic guitar and rhythms layered over bracing electric guitar accents and compelling drums fronted by vocals that balance between passionate and edgy. The best word to describe this musical meld is perhaps a genre of its own: Acousti-rock.
Three has released 3 NEW! songs Home, Unfamilair and wysiwyg all recorded at Powerhouse Studios. Stuart Covington engineering and also performing drums in the songs.
Bill Stu- vocals, guitar
Rack - guitar, vocals
T - bass
Stewy - drums
4) Three was a two piece Canberra band active in the 1990's whom consisted of virtuoso bass player Ben Green who also lent his voice to their compositions and Adrian McKerall (Ajax) who played drums and the odd spot of guitar. Their early demo's featured some ripping heavy bass playing that became more mature, mellow and the two piece minimalist approach was a uniquely Canberra voice as they developed.
Both members were active in other acts in the Canberra region (Bungzilla, Tugboat, Slug, Prophets of Doom etc) and played to a wider audience touring Australia until the release of their full length "My Hat Is A Red Saucepan". Green built his own bass guitar that he played throughout his time in the band which eventually relocated to Melbourne in the mid 90s
Green also became proficient in turntables and began scratching with Melbourne dub outfit High Pass Filter, Three became less active and after Green's custom handmade bass was stolen, seemed to disband.

But I hate to hear those words
That you're good with being gone
And everything is wrong
Don't you give up now
We'll make it through somehow
There's lots of living left
In this life not the next
The end is not the answer
You and I are in this together!
Don't you give up ever
'Cause the end is not the answer!
I know how it hurts
But I hate to hear those words
There's lots of living left
In this life not the next
The end is not the answer
You and I are in this together!
Don't you give up ever
'Cause the end is not the answer!
Everybody gets hurt sometimes
Everybody gets lost sometimes
Nobody knows when it's their time
To go
To go
To go
The end is not the answer
You and I are in this together!
Don't you give up ever
'Cause the end is not the answer!
The end is not the answer
You and I are in this together!
Don't you give up ever
'Cause the end is not the answer!
The end is not the answer
You and I are in this together!
Don't you give up ever
'Cause the end is not the answer!
The lyrics of Three Days Grace's song The End Is Not The Answer are a message of hope, encouragement and support to someone going through a difficult and painful time. The song is about never giving up, even when everything feels like it's falling apart. The singer knows that it hurts to hear those words that everything is wrong, but he emphasizes that there is still a lot of living left in this life and that they will make it through somehow if they don't give up.
The chorus repeats the phrase "The end is not the answer" as a reminder that things may be tough right now, but it's not the end of the road. The singer stresses that they are in this together and urges the listener not to give up ever. The bridge further reinforces the idea that everyone goes through difficult times and that nobody knows when it's their time to go, but the end is not the answer.
Overall, the song is a powerful statement about how important it is to keep pushing through the tough times and to remember that life can still be wonderful and fulfilling despite the hardships we face.
