Dancing in the Rain
Through the Roots Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Though this world isn't stable
Voices in my head
And they're asking of im able
Some of them may doubt me
Insisting I will fail
But I continue marching down this trail
Clouds up in the sky
The visions, it transblinding by this darkness in my eyes
Im about to go in stronger
You must endure the pain
Cause rise up from the storm
The lyrics to Through the Roots's song "Dancing in the Rain" touches on the theme of resilience and overcoming obstacles. The opening line of "The people remain steady, though this world isn't stable" speaks to the idea that despite the chaos that surrounds us and the uncertain times in which we live, people still find a way to persevere. The following lines "Voices in my head, and they're asking if I'm able" speaks to the self-doubt and inner struggles that one may face when trying to overcome adversity.
The chorus of "Clouds up in the sky, make out shadows of my life. The visions, it transblinding by this darkness in my eyes. I'm about to go in stronger, you must endure the pain, cause rise up from the storm" is a call to action to rise up against challenges and emerge stronger for it. The imagery of clouds and shadows speaks to the idea that our struggles can sometimes cloud our vision and make it difficult to see the path ahead. However, the lyrics encourage the listener to push through the pain and come out stronger on the other side.
Overall, "Dancing in the Rain" is a song that inspires the listener to find strength within themselves and to face life's challenges head-on. It reminds us that although the world may be unstable and our own doubts may hold us back, we are capable of weathering the storm and dancing in the rain.

My feet remain steady
Though this world isn't stable
Voices in my head
And they're asking if I'm able
Some of them may doubt me
Insisting I will fail
But I continue marching down this trail
Clouds up in the sky
Make out shadows of my life
The visions, it transblinding by this darkness in my eyes
I'm about to go in stronger
You must endure the pain
'Cause life's a thunderstorm
I'm just dancing in the rain
I'm just dancing in the rain
And I don't care what they tell me
They try to put me down and repel me
But they can't do anything to stop me
This passion reinforces every single bone inside my body
Cause this is my life
And guaranteed I'm gonna live it
Take out that I'm made of
That's what I'm giving
I'll give it my heart, I'll give it my soul
I'm turning up the heat inside this cold cold world
They might drop me down and drag me through the dirt
Some might go the extra mile just to make it hurt
But I'm on the path to growing stronger
You must endure the pain
'Cause life's a thunderstorm
I'm just dancing in the rain
Well I'm just dancing in the rain
I'm just dancing in the rain
Dancing in the rain
One life to live, one life to love
But if you let the hate count on your life then its tough
This road might be rough but you must endure the pain
'Cause life's a thunderstorm
I'm just dancing in the rain
Well I'm just dancing in the rain
