For some reason, I feel more comfortable among faces that I canāt see rather than faces I can see to say something like this, so Iāll just share how I feel below since a lot of people are doing that as well.
Iāve been struggling with depression since a very young age, and itās affected every aspect of my life; my school, my relationships with people, the way I carry & and view myself, my self esteem, and even down to little things such as subconscious actions.
Itās a plague, and often I find myself pushing away people who try to help me, and Iād be lying if I said even getting a genuine hug from someone who knew about my problems wouldnāt cause me to break down and start crying.
The hardest battle Iāve ever had to face was and STILL is the battle between me and my own mind. But this video gives me hope, hope that one day I can conquer it and learn to let people in again. It sucks knowing how badly I want to change, yet my own mind doesnāt allow it to happen.
Thereās a little bit of the samurai in all of us, and hopefully, one day someone can show me the way too, and Iāll be free. I love you all, and please keep hanging in there. If I havenāt given up, you sure as hell shouldnāt either.
