Hate to Tell You

Yay yeah
You’re walking into dangerous territory
I see it now, but you don’t see the warning
I tell you what it’s best, you do the opposite
Don’t say I never said
I hate to tell you “I told you so”
I hate to tell you “I told you so”
But this one I can’t let gooo-ooo-oo
This one I can’t let gooo-ooo-oo
I hate to tell you, but I told you so
Blind folded by infatuation of the money
It’s screaming out but you push away the signs
I tell you what I think, but you’re not listening
Don’t say I never said
I hate to tell you “I told you so”
But this one I can’t let go
I hate to tell you “I told you so”
But this one I can’t let gooo-ooo-oo
This one I can’t let gooo-ooo-oo
I hate to tell you, but I told you
Oh oh, you say you hear me loud and clear
Oh oh, you’re walking right into and dry my tear
Oh oh, stop before you look back with regret
Just don’t say I never said, oh oh
I hate to tell you “I told you so”
But this one I can’t let go
I hate to tell you “I told you so”
But this one I can’t let gooo-ooo-oo
This one I can’t let gooo-ooo-oo
I hate to tell you, but I told you so
The lyrics of Tiffany Alvord's song "Hate to Tell You" convey a sense of concern and frustration towards someone who is willingly entering dangerous territory despite the warning signs. The singer recognizes the impending danger, but the other person seems blinded by their infatuation or desire for money. The singer feels compelled to speak up and share their thoughts, even though they anticipate being ignored or disregarded. The repetition of the phrase "I hate to tell you 'I told you so'" emphasizes the singer's reluctance to be proven right in this situation.
The lyrics suggest that the other person is making choices that may lead to regrets or negative consequences. The singer is trying to prevent them from making a mistake by urging them to stop, listen, and reconsider their actions before it's too late. However, the person's refusal to heed the warning frustrates the singer, and they lament that they have no choice but to say "I told you so" in the future.
Overall, the lyrics convey a sense of helplessness, as the singer wants to protect the other person from harm but realizes that they cannot control their decisions or change their path. It's a bittersweet plea for the other person to recognize the warning signs and avoid the inevitable and potentially painful outcome.

Michael Tanri It's not like an angel, it's like the medicine to a broken and helpless heart or like a cure for a weak rose that only with hearing the melody and kindness of Tiffany makes the rose grow stronger and gorgeous with every word off her mouth. Her voice opens the doors of spring and comforts us when we need it and not just that her voice is not like an angel it's like heaven directly singing to everyone.
