Tilbury plays dramatic folk pop led by synthesizers by Kristinn Evertsson (Valdimar) and sixties guitar sound by Orn Eldjarn (Brother Grass). Guðmundur Óskar Guðmundsson (Hjaltalín) decorates the sound with his French-ish baselines and drummer Magnús Trygvason Eliassen (Sin Fang, Amiina, Moses Hightower) binds it all together with his dynamic drumming.
Tilbury's debut album, Exorcise was released in May 2012 on Record Records. Their newest album, So Overwhelming, was released in April 2023 after a decade-long hiatus. Best comeback album ever if you ask me.
