Tim, Single Player games are not dead, and will never be. There will always be an audience of people who want to play by themselves and experience a game's mechanics and story by themselves. The whole metaverse expirement failed, with the 3 extra game modes gaining popularity at first but are now dead.
@RyanCroal
True
@Brisius
which extra game modes are you talking about? and why has the whole metaverse experiment failed according to your opinion?
@MemoristtheTerrorist4595
@Brisius The extra game modes are Lego Fortnite, Rocket Racing, Fortnite Festival, and Creative 2.0. Epic tried pushing these so hard in the early days of Chapter 5 and it worked, for about 2 weeks. Lego fort went from 1 million to around 30k, Rocket Racing and Fortnite Festival average around 5k, and creative 2.0 is just a worse roblox filled with nothing burger games. I'm sure Ranked Battle Royale alone gets more players than all of the above mentioned game modes combined.

@MemoristtheTerrorist4595
@@Brisius Most of Fortnite's player base only plays Battle Royale (Zero Build Included). Epic, instead of releasing these as separate games, just lazily slapped the Fortnite name on it, hoping it would sell, but most players only cared about the BR
