This is just the perfect example of Tim and Eric, starting out in one silly place and unexpectedly shifting completely to another silly place. The weirdness of of turning a vacation story into a straight up ad, and also the way that ad feels totally familiar like something you'd see on TV at 2am 20 years ago.

Yes, its because the most detailed and subtly genius satirical show ever made. there is no topic or specific detail about life that these guys can't touch upon in. It's the fact that most people can't recognize this satire and only view it as a weird collection of nonsense that makes them not understand this show because honestly the satire is somewhat subtle and normally more educated people recognize it easier. I find that smarter people tend to watch this show.

You're right there certainly is! But rather than explaining everything in this video you should watch some of their episodes. not just like one or two but multiple episodes to get a feel for what their humor is and why its funny. And honestly I left out the fact that this show is an incredible experience when you're high, so that's definitely some of the reason it is so popular. I almost always watch this after burning a few bowls.
