@@berilbalahan2927 sure, there was no internet (was dial up and really really slow, birth of the main stream net back then), so basically there was no pressure like there is on kids these days to maintain or worry about social media presence, or feel the need to try and be popular.
No harrassment by other peers, as no internet means they actually could not contact / stalk you.
Cheaper back then, as there were no streaming services or additional expenses like there is today, which empty some people's wallets these days to keep up with all the latest things (this includes technology), we actually saved lots of money in banks.
Things were also cheaper, much cheaper, houses cars you name it, yes wages where cheaper, but no additional expenses.
News was different back then too, they actually reported on real things, and not pump fake articles to draw attention to them and get the traffic.
Music, music was better to imo, every music video was basically a short movie clip and not overly sexualised like todays music.
Friends, you actually visited real friends, in person, even stayed over at each other's houses too, and had parties, amazing 😂.
Not so many cars on the road back then.
Jobs where easier to get and maintain, every company worries about their bottom dollar these days and Penny pince where they can, by cutting hours back, cutting staff or costs. Back then, it was nothing like that.
Back then, everything was made in our country (from Australia here), which meant a lot more jobs, hardly anything was made in China back then.
Mobile phones didn't really come in to the late 90's, which were not really popular at first and could only send texts and voice calls. Oh and 1 game, snake. So if you wanted to call friends, you had to use the home phone, and when we went out, parents couldn't track us like they do today via phones.
Oh geez I could go on forever but yeah, I won't.
