Let me break it down. First of all, the KJV is the most accurate translation of the Bible from the original text. “Putting away” and divorce are NOT the same thing.
Deut 24:1 describes the Jewish divorce process in which a “get”, that is, a formal divorce decree has to be issued in order for a divorce to be valid. The men were “putting away” women, that is kicking them out without issuing a divorce decree. Why? Because if they formally divorced a woman, her family would be entitled to be refunded the dowry the bride’s dowry. When you understand that context, it also makes a ton of sense why the Lord calls “putting away” a treacherous act; you keep the woman bound naturally and essentially steal the money she and her family are entitled to.
So yes, of course if you “put away” a woman, if she remarried she is in adultery bc she is still legally married. It would be tantamount to someone who is separated getting remarried whilst separated. They would be breaking the laws of God and the laws of man and it would be illegal.
Please humble yourself bc we don’t know it all. I noticed a lot of Christian’s like to assault people with scripture, yet they do not take the time to study the cultural context of the passages in the Bible, which is extremely important to get full understanding and to truly grasp the word properly.
