Glad I'm not alone in thinking this song has an ironically serious tone after his career played out. Toby Turner was one of my favorite youtubers from awhile back and it's sad to see how things played out especially with how the Amber Heard vs. Johnny Depp trial played out. We would laugh and quote you in front of our friends, and I even learned "Dramatic Song" on the piano just so we could laugh whenever he'd hear it. He joined the United States Marine Corps when I was 12. He was stationed in California, and is there as I write this comment. I haven't seen him in just...a really long time. I watch your videos and laugh and remember how he and I used to watch them together. I know it sounds basic and cheesy of me to say this, but your videos actually mean more than just comedy to me. I used to watch Toby all the time as a kid and when I heard about all the accusations on him I couldn’t help but not believe it, but deep down I was getting older and started to believe it might have been true and just like that he was gone from my thought not to be watched again. I came back to watching one of his happywheels videos and it made me laugh more than I have in a few years as things are getting harder as I grow up and I came to this song and couldn’t help but cry because of how sad I felt to leave you behind me but also happy that you were and inspiration to me when little and that you were still able to make me laugh all these years after. That's definitely a sensitive issue. I didn't watch a lot of her stuff, but some of it was hilarious.

Doing blackface hasn't been ok, ever. It may have been seen as socially acceptable among white people at one time, but that was long before I, or Jenna, was born. A lot of famous people seem to have made this mistake. I don't understand it. It's a lot easier not to paint your face black than it is to do it.

I know she was young and dumb when she did it, which isn't excusing her actions, but she seemed sincere in her apology; at least, I truly hope she was because it's horrible.

@Michael it doesn't entirely excuse her actions, but I feel like a little bit of leeway should be given to people that don't have a fully developed prefrontal cortex (around 24ish, but it's a range). It's incredibly difficult for them to think of the repercussions of their actions. I'm sure her apology was sincere. She never struck me as someone who would intentionally try to hurt anyone, especially not a large demographic of people. Still a horrible thing to do, but hopefully she learned from it and became a better person.

It's been multiple years since I've been watching this channel. It was back when I was in 4th or 5th grade that me and my friends were totally obsessed with you and your content, to the point where we were memorizing the lyrics to some of your songs and the Literal Trailers. After that, I grew older and moved from videos like yours to commentary videos and sketch comedy videos. Then, of course, there was that time a year or so ago when there was some... questionable... drama about you. I may not have commented or done much, but I mentally supported you, because I remembered that you were my favorite YouTuber for 2 years and I didn't want to believe it. I just returned to your channel to see your content still being fantastic, and I went back to this song. I am actually crying because these videos remind me of the good old days before it all got complicated.
