After Bill Kaulitz’s participation in a children’s Star Search in 2003 at age thirteen (which he lost in the quarter-final), he was discovered by music producer Peter Hoffmann. Devilish changed their name to Tokio Hotel: “Tokio” is the German spelling of the Japanese city Tokyo, due to a love of the city, and “Hotel” due to their constant touring and living in hotels.
Soon after Sony BMG took them under contract, Hoffmann hired David Jost and Pat Benzner into the team of creators and authors, and had them give the teens instruction on songwriting and instrument playing; most of the songs of the first album were written by Hoffmann, Jost and Benzer (including the singles Scream and Rescue Me which were completely written by them), only the single Unendlichkeit was written completely by Tokio Hotel themselves. However, shortly before release of their first album, Sony terminated their contract. In 2005, Universal Music Group took Tokio Hotel under contract and developed a marketing plan. The band has now become one of the biggest acts originating from Germany, The bands success has reached The United States, Mexico, Puerto Rico, France and various other countries.
Tokio Hotel released the album "Humanoid" in Europe And the United States, With translations in German and English.

Every stone?s been turned around
We feel no fear at all
Not at all
We don?t know what?s to come
Our beginning had already begun
And now we have to run
The last look back is black
The night turns dark ahead
When there?s no turning back
We?re glad
So glad
No turning back
No turning back
Where have you gone?
You made us feel so strong
You lost us and now we are
Alone
It?s dark despite the light
Tomorrow?s not in sight
And we were born to go
On and on
The last look back is black
The night turns dark ahead
When there?s no turning back
We?re glad
So glad
No turning back
No turning back
No turning back
Let us run and don?t look back
We leave behind a burning track
Let us run and don?t look back
We leave behind a burning track
Come on
Come on
The last look back is black
The night turns dark ahead
When there?s no turning back
We?re glad
So glad
The last looks back is black
The night turns dark ahead
There?s no turning back
We?re glad
So glad
No turning back
No turnïng back
The song "Black" by German rock band Tokio Hotel speaks about a broken world and the struggle of facing an uncertain future with bravery and determination. The opening lines, "The world has broken down, every stone's been turned around," convey a sense of hopelessness and despair. Despite this, the band chooses not to feel afraid and declares it with the lines, "We feel no fear at all, not at all."
The lyrics then suggest that the band does not know what lies ahead, but they do know that their journey has already begun, and they must run forward. The chorus talks about not being able to turn back and how that makes them happy, "No turning back, we're glad, so glad." The last look back is black, which means that every time they look back, it feels like the end of something. It is as if looking back would only fill them with regret, and so they choose not to do it. Instead, they focus on moving forward, leaving behind a burning track.
The song talks about feeling lost, and how it makes them feel weak. "Where have you gone? You made us feel so strong, you lost us and now we are alone." The lines suggest that something or someone made them feel secure, but it is now gone, leaving them to face their fears alone. The next lines, "It's dark despite the light, tomorrow's not in sight," indicate a sense of pessimism and uncertainty about their future. Despite these challenges, they choose to keep going, living each day as they were born to, "On and on."
