As of 2016, Morello is a member of the supergroup Prophets of Rage. Morello was also a touring musician with Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band. He is also known for his acoustic solo act, The Nightwatchman, and Street Sweeper Social Club. Morello also co-founded Axis of Justice, which airs a monthly program on Pacifica Radio station KPFK (90.7 FM) in Los Angeles.
Born in Harlem, New York and raised in Libertyville, Illinois, Morello became interested in music and politics while in high school. He attended Harvard University and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Committee on Degrees in Social Studies. After his previous band Lock Up disbanded, Morello met Zack de la Rocha, and the two founded Rage Against the Machine together, going on to become one of the most popular and influential rock acts of the 1990s.
He is best known for his unique and creative guitar playing style, which incorporates feedback noise, unconventional picking and tapping, as well as heavy use of guitar effects. Morello is also known for his leftist political views and activism; creating the Nightwatchman offered an outlet for his views while playing apolitical music with Audioslave. He was ranked number 40 in Rolling Stone magazine's list of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time".
Can't Stop The Bleeding
Tom Morello Lyrics

Trouble found and trouble lost
20 centuries of sleep, ah
Trouble paid and trouble bought
Frayed like myth, every fool caught it
Sound like this, every fool bought it
Can't stop the bleeding, oh
Fill my soul, it's hard to see
Trouble found and trouble lost
20 miles dark and deep
Trouble paid and trouble bought, uh
Frayed like myth, every fool caught it
Sound like this, every fool bought it
Oh, nah
Can't stop the bleeding, oh
Oh, nah, uh
Can't stop the bleeding, uh
Whoo
Calling
Oh, nah
No
Sound like this, whoo
Uh, every fool bought it
Uh, can't stop the bleeding
Oh, whoo
Uh, can't stop the bleeding
Oh, yeah
Frayed like myth, every fool caught it
Sound like this, every fool bought it
Frayed like myth, every fool caught it
Sound like this, every fool bought it
Can't stop the bleeding
Whoo
Go, go, go, go
Go, go, go, go
Go, go, go, go
Can't stop the bleeding
Go, go, go, go
Go, go, go, go
Go, go

The lyrics of Tom Morello's "Can't Stop the Bleeding" talk about the difficulty of dealing with troubles or pain. The first stanza mentions how it is hard to breathe and how trouble seems to be everywhere. The reference to "20 centuries of sleep" could be interpreted as how difficult it is to wake up from a state of suffering or numbness that has lasted for a long time. The mention of trouble being paid and bought suggests that struggles are a constant part of life, and everyone must deal with them in one way or another.
The second stanza talks about how it is hard to see when one is filled with pain, and how trouble is deep and dark. The repetition of the phrase "frayed like myth, every fool caught it" suggests that pain and trouble are things that have been experienced by everyone, but it is up to each individual to interpret and handle it in their way. The chorus of the song repeats the phrase "Can't stop the bleeding" four times, highlighting the unrelenting nature of pain and how it can be challenging to overcome.
Overall, "Can't Stop the Bleeding" is a melancholic song that speaks about the different ways people handle pain and challenges in their lives. It highlights how, despite the troubles that might seem inescapable, one should try to keep moving forward as best they can.

Zoli Marosan Yep, The Second Coming by William B. Yeats:
Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.
Surely some revelation is at hand;
Surely the Second Coming is at hand.
The Second Coming! Hardly are those words out
When a vast image out of Spiritus Mundi
Troubles my sight: somewhere in sands of the desert
A shape with lion body and the head of a man,
A gaze blank and pitiless as the sun,
Is moving its slow thighs, while all about it
Reel shadows of the indignant desert birds.
The darkness drops again; but now I know
That twenty centuries of stony sleep
Were vexed to nightmare by a rocking cradle,
And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?
