A "genius"?...regardless of context, i wouldn't afford this animal with such a lofty title.

From an evasion perspective, he got caught at a time when it is was easy to get away with his murderous behaviour.

Its not "genius" to hide your true feelings, when you understand how wrong those feelings are in society. He enjoyed deception, deception allowed hin to continue taking lives. I think this deception shines a light on his true guilt because he understood the wrongfulness of his inclinations and actions and acted them out anyway, regardless of the lives lost at his hands.

A smarter person would have sought help for their mental illness instead of acting on their twisted thoughts. In Bundy's situation, he understood how wrong his behaviour was, that compounds his guilt in my view.

There is certainly something wrong with a mind that derives pleasure from others suffering, and allows a person to take another person's life.

Bundy was a coward and a sick man and certainly no description of "genius" applies.

@@azrael.jordan.osiris yeah sometimes you see a side of people that other people don’t even believe, that in itself can almost be as wounding as the actual experience, people start saying you’re making it up for attention while you’re sat there having experienced what you have wondering what’s good about attention!! What the fuck’s that going to do!!

People lie for many reasons but the common denominator is that they tend to look down on you and believe themselves to be of a majestic breed or with a majestic gift.

At the end of day you can get away from them but the experience can take some overcoming.

When we get memories of the horrors that left us helpless what you have to bare in mind is that you’re not remembering it because it wishes to torture you but rather it’s trying to tell you something that you’ve missed, something your brain has not fully processed because it’s so horrible but if you can brave it out and force yourself to relive it you may find something enlightening about it that will help make sense of it (even it’s unfavourable you still need to know it) which slowly but surely will lead to understanding it in a way it will no longer run through your mind, effectively once it’s understood it is forgotten, while you can’t make sense of it it will remain because that’s just your brain trying to make sense of it.

Writing things down and reading them back is multiple way of processing the information

1. It’s a thought
2. The action of writing it is a different part of the brain that processes the information
3. Reading it back and having the information re-enter your brain through your eyes is again a separate area brain that is processing it
And if
4. You read it out loud that activates another area of your brain that will process it and
5. When you read it out loud you hear when sound going in your ears processes the information

If you activate many different areas of your brain and they all process the information it may give you a more well rounded understanding and help you reach the point it’s understood and when it’s understood the brain has no reason to look at it again.

If you just store your memories as memories then they exist in one area of your brain and that means only one area of your brain is attempting to understand them.

It’s something I realised one day when was attempting to get my head around some C-PTSD I had which was only diagnosed years after (far to late) a chain of events that became so overwhelming my brain had basically stopped functioning properly because it couldn’t take the suffering and after about 6 years or more I started questioning how I’d got to where I was and what life was like before that ever began.

Realising that life was great and having to understand what had happened involved facing nightmare truths that escaped me as they occurred but once I could follow it from start to finish it was the most liberating experience of my life, I could see the past, I understood the present and I could look to the future (I couldn’t see any of it for years, I was just existing) I took an entire packet of sleeping pills without anyone having a clue and by pure chance that one day my dad appeared and found me, I would have died blind to existence had he not, and hearing him say that he’d reach the point of thinking I was dead before a last minute moment of desperation caused him to try and wake me up again when to his relief I did meant I wasn’t trying that again. I shouldn’t lived but by pure chance I did and from that point on I had nothing but fight in me.

You gotta exercise those demons until their doing jumping jacks at your command.

If you’re the victim of another then you will realise you did nothing wrong and all you can do now is take those lessons with you and use them for own good.

Like me your biggest fault was probably your naïveté, the belief that bad people can be helped, but sadly they can’t and all you can do is get away from them as not everyone is like that, and should you meet anyone who is then this time you have the radar to detect it.

He can't talk about it without smiling. These kinds of people don't feel what normal people feel

@Angelina6518

Yeah he refers to it” the girl” as an “it” and an “experience.” Pure evil. Sad.

@Onepieceistheworstfuckinganime

How would you know?

@joyceleentvaar

As far as his body language tells, he actually is retaining himself and does not want to smile.

He's trying not to smile. There's no regret, and he rejects the question because he knows he'll reveal himself potentially.

@irishscience580
