Pour l'été 87 sort son premier album "Dansé Soleil" . Parallèlement , il fonde avec ses compères Michel ALIBO , Jean-Paul POGNON et Mario CANONGE le groupe SAKIYO , premier "super-groupe" antillais de zouk évolutif . Leur "Bisou sucré" embrasent la France et les DOM .
Lors de la tournée de MALAVOI en 1988 , Tony CHASSEUR rejoint Pipo GERTRUDE comme chanteur du groupe pour terminer la tournée . L'aventure prend fin après l'enregistrement de l'album "Souch" et le Zénith 90 . Une nouvelle aventure l'appelle avec le "Grand Méchant Zouk" , regroupant les meilleurs artistes antillais , en Juin-Juillet et Août 90 .
"Itinéraire" , une compilation regroupant ses meilleures interprétations , sorti en 1992 , nous offre un artiste mûri par ses diverses expériences .
Il réalise entre-temps des albums pour différents artistes : Tatiana MIATH pour qui il co-écrira les hits "On ti dousè" , "Romantik" et "Nuit de miel" , et Bernard LAPIERRE , avec le titre "Sonjé (Frè nou)" , titre pour lequel il recevra le "Prix SACEM auteur de l'année 1992" . Il co-réalise de même les premiers albums de Chris COMBETTE et de James GERMAIN .
En Avril 1993 sort son second album , "Sable Mouillé" , un véritable retour sur le devant de la scène antillaise pour lui , faisant rimer Zouk avec diversité . Les titres "Fanm mizik" et "Don d'organe" deviendront des standards incontournables de la variété antillaise , surtout "Don d'organe" pour lequel il se verra décerner plusieurs prix dont le "Prix SACEM succès de l'année 1993" .
En décembre 1994 est sorti "Déferlante" du groupe FAL FRETT' , album dans lequel Tony interprète entre autre une version originale de "Grantomobil" , lui permettant d'exercer ses talents de chanteur dans un registre plus "jazzy" .
Sortie en Mai 1995 de "Lanmou & Lanmityé" . De cet album seront extraites des chansons de rythmes variées , telle que "An chanson pou la viw" , mais aussi le succès "Séréna" , et de superbes compositions comme "Étincelle" et "Maléré" .
En Octobre 1995 : Première tournée aux Antilles (Martinique : Grand Carbet , Guadeloupe : Centre Des Arts) en duo avec Tatiana MIATH , accompagnés par le groupe ASHANTI .
Juin 1996 : Sortie de l'album : TONY & TATIANA "Douce Folie" , regroupant leurs meilleurs titres , et présentant le hit "Fè vit (Reviens-moi)" . Il s'en suivra une nouvelle tournée en Martinique et en Guadeloupe avec ASHANTI en Novembre 1996 .
En 1998 , il intègre le groupe BIZNESS , où évoluent Jean-Philippe MARTHÉLY , Jean-Luc GUANEL et Jean-Claude NAIMRO , avec lequel il effectue plusieurs prestations qui rassemblent un immense public et obtiennent de grands succès .
Juin 1998 : sortie de son 4ème album solo , "Mélodies créoles" .
