Dude, that's some ridiculous guitar playing lol, damn. Amazing
The Shocker
I would say that Petrucci was influenced by TM, to be certain. Tosin is amazing and I love the way he approaches the instrument, very unique. I still think you cannot get better than either one, just different. Love them both, just like blondes and brunettes! lol

I've bought Macalpine's new masterpiece : simply awesome. And who are the drummers playing on this album ? Well Marco Minnemann and Virgil Donati. Where did i see those guys lately ? Yes ! I remember ! the Dream Theater drummers auditions !!

One the best guitar composers, no doubt, is good to hear and see the new material :) I still remember when buying the vinyl "Edge of Insanity" uncensored cover, in the 80's. Saludos From Chile

Fucking insane! It's very musical, and super technical at the same time. those solo runs 3/4 way towards the end sounds like Paul Gilbert on drugs.

T-Mac is the only guy who tops even Mr. Gilberto

whew. i gotta say, i love tmac, i'm like a ....Macaphile. but i gotta say, this is a tough album. you'll probably wanna listen to his work with Planet X, Cab, and Seven the Hardway to see where he's coming from on this one. I'm on my fifth listen and it's starting to stick now. great stuff no less, but this is totally different than anything he's done under his own name.
