Ya Ya
Tony Sheridan Lyrics

Oh, well, I'm sittin' here, la, la
Waiting for my ya ya
Uh huh, uh huh
I'm sittin' here, la, la
Waiting for my ya ya
Uh huh, uh huh
It may sound funny
But I don't believe she's comin'
Uh huh, uh huh
Baby, honey, don't leave me worried
Uh huh, uh huh
Ye, baby, honey, don't leave me worried
Uh huh
You know that I love you
Oh, how I love you
Uh huh, uh huh

I'm sittin' here, la, la
Waiting for my ya ya
Uh huh, uh huh
I'm sittin' here, la, la
Waiting for my ya ya
Uh huh, uh huh
It may sound funny
But I don't believe she's comin'
Uh huh, uh huh

Baby, honey, don't leave me worried
Uh huh, uh huh
Ye, baby, honey, don't leave me worried
Uh huh
You know how I love you
Oh, how I love you
Uh huh, uh huh

I'm sittin' here, la, la
Waiting for my ya ya
Uh huh, uh huh
I'm sittin' here, la, la
Waiting for my ya ya
Uh huh, uh huh
It may sound funny
But I don't believe she's comin'
Uh huh, uh huh

Baby, honey, don't leave me worried
Uh huh
Ye, baby, honey, don't leave me worried
Uh huh, uh huh

Great song!
I'm gotta comment again, I comment here months ago but I don't see the title changed!
Please Just name the title Tony Sheridan because none of The Beatles are playing here! This recording Is from Jan. 63!

Let's Dance
What'd I Say
Ruby Baby
Ya Ya
Are not The Beatles but The Beatles are In others tracks! Believe me, I wish The Beatles were In here because these are some killers tunes, I wouldn't still be listening to them If I didn't like them!

R.I.P McGinnity. I was at the same school in Norwich as him; he was the singer with 'The Saints' skiffle group.A bunch of us would get together in the Music Rooms at lunchtimes and play Skiffle; sometimes Mac would be there, sometimes Kenny Packwood, The Saints' rhythm guitarist, sometimes anybody with a guitar. I was learning 'Cello at the time, and tried to provide bass lines. I was crap , but McGinnity and Packwood never told me to clear off!

I remember this from my childhood, haven't heard this in like 30 years. Good times, I miss em.

Definitely no Beatles on there, but a great track nonetheless! We'll be playing this song as part of our tribute to Tony Sheridan at Beatlesday Mons in Belgium on 12 October 2013!

@Chris Brown Absolutely. I was there - I saw him sing this several times. The Beatles left in November 1962, when I/we arrived. This group was still called the Beat brothers, but no one from the Beatles was in the group, for the simple reason that they were no longer in Hamburg. Actually you can hear Tony say "A little bit of Roy Young there" just before the organ solo. Listen to the guitar solo near the end... pure Sheridan, brilliant ! He knew how to drive a group like very few singers do - the groove is phenomenal.

Chris Brown

This discography is completely wrong. There's an organ and though it sounds like Tony Sheridan none of his backing sounds like the Beat Brothers aka Beatles. The only Sheridan EP with the Beatles I know has Ain't She Sweet, Take Out Some Insurance and My Bonnie, on it.

MAN !!! THIS IS GOOD !!! Very impressed w/ his Elvis-like voice, yet he's got a badder-ass sound than Elvis.
